- Ringwood is set to close its doors on the 7th August 2022. Ringwood Raceway aka Matchams is my local oval track and I've been going there for the majority of my life. Here are the best bits I have film from the track since I started youtube back in 2013... enjoy!

Wheres the best raceway in/near staffordshire area for proper banger racing with full contact? Been to a few at buxton raceway but they just aren't what they use to be with full on contact (Is it certain events) We're not far from hednesford either and they always have events on but not sure what I'm looking for on their events list .They got Bangers
Back To Basics but is this like full contact bangers? Or does it just vary from raceway
Northampton is about an hour for me and im in birmingham/walsall Not sure about the meets as i aint been there for a few years. Rest are ages away tbh
Mate Hednesford has a few national banger meetings every year, you missed veterans day with the old bangers, civil war at the start, the bws series, and at the end of the year near November you now have a national bangers champions of champions, last year's one wasn't as good as Birmingham ones but it's still something to go to if you're looking for some action
Also b2b meetings are rubbish mainly controlled by the scrap yard screamers and it gets boring seeing the same winner, there isn't much contact nor cars so it's basically banger rods

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's closing the ringwood circuit. :(
It is, they have one last meeting coming up, think it may be this Saturday coming. But some people think the track may go on but under new ownership.
