The relationship starts at a tennis court and switches back and forth between “you’re a cowboy like me” and “you’re a bandit like me” almost like a tennis game itself. Notice also how it’s never the other person who will pay for it. After she “locked it down” the other person is hanging from protagonists lips, insinuating that they are the person in power at that time.
