Just watched a gal with a tiny kitchen in an apartment go through how she organizes hers on YT. She didn't have much food...but some cute ideas for small kitchen storage.
For someone who doesn't have a pantry I was so pleased to find a video of how to use my kitchen cabinets (they are all I have in my small kitchen in the UK) for food and dishware storage. Much appreciated. Thank you.
Love the idea pf putting a tension rod in front of your canned goods to hold them in. Im going to try some of your other ideas and see what i can do. Thanks
Sheer brilliance with that tension rod! And with how you stored all your overflow spices in baggies in one bin! THAT may just be the solution I need in my oh-so-small rental kitchen.

For the mac n cheese instead of dumping them all into one container you can put them into snack size ziplock bags together with the cheese pack and then put them into a container.

We buy store brand mac & cheese by the case when on sale for 2/$1 or cheaper. We pour contents of each box into quart ziplock bags, add cheese packet, and seal, squeezing out as much air as possible. I fit about 30 of them into a 6x5x9 Tupperware container. Takes up a fraxtion of the space of those boxes. When we use a packet, we keep the bag to reuse. We don't need to keep instructions, we know it by heart. We do same with other main dish mixes, but add cut-out instrctions to bag. I also take cake mixes out of boxes, tape the instructions to bag, and store togerther in another Tupperware container.
Not to mention they all have different expiration dates.
Love your ideas. Many of them I have already done. What I like about this is you didn't use expensive things.
The curtain rod for the cans was brilliant. My new favorite video.
I've found that any space that gets warm isn't good for my baked goods ingredients. As a baker, I may be a little picky though. I don't like any of my ingredients being warmed up and cooled on a daily basis, makes the product break down over time and changes the chemical make up of the ingredient. I think this is a great video, thanks for sharing.

I don't have a pantry in my new place & only limited cupboard space for food storage. This is a Brilliant storage set up ... both accessible, as well as economical to create! Thought I was the only person who has a huge amount of cupcake liners! There is always more in a package than I need at once, and I never remember what I have and always want the new designs!

We use the top of the stove cabinet for our extra lightbulbs. Since that space is secluded, they are be safe and out of the way. :D
I loved putting the excess spices into zip lock bags!!! Takes up so much less space than all the jars!! Thanx so much. TFS and take care............

The cabinet above the microwave solution is perfect. Just solved my problem and it looks great . I rarely bake so, that location has become my baking area. It frees up a whole shelf in my oddly shaped corner cabinet😊
Very professional quality video ..lots of useful ideas that don't cost a fortune to try ..I live in a small apartment with no pantry but i picked up a really heavy duty vintage two door cupboard from a thrift store for £10 and i put it in my built in wardrobe ..I can fit a lot of tins and dried food in there and with the kitchen and freezer, i think i'm good for a few months eating now ...I don't eat much ...I also have packs of water under the bed .
This was The Perfect Organizing Video for me. I love cooking. im always in the kitchen. The one thing i hate is that ive never had a big enough pantry. only cabinets and drawers. On top of everything im super short. so that pull out system is amazing and i dont have to spend so much money...THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH😀🙏😇

we are down sizing for a house we have lived in for 44 years to a mobile home. a very small kitchen with maybe a third of the cabinets i have now. this helped me see how much can be done with a little. thanks.

I may be really late to this party, but Im takiing home some really good tips! Especially since I lived in a house with tons of cabinet storage, kitchen island, breakfast table, plus pantry and now the much smaller house Im in can't even fit 2 people in the kitchen.... life goes in cycles and I feel Blessed. I've used boxes that things originally come to the store in, that the store uses to display in. They are usually happy to get the"trash" off the sales floor, and they dont have to pick it up to throw away!

Thanks for all these kitchen pantry videos. You have inspired me to start reorganizing our kitchen. It's the one place I our home that is organized but not good enough. We have too many things that we can either never find when we need it or we don't use it at all. I will be starting this process and I'm so excited.
When it comes to that, I suggest consolidating. It ensures the product gets used. When you grab for 1 you have no choice but to grab it all and more likely to use it. Thanks and tfw💕😊😘

Awesome timing Poloma! Just about ready to tackle our pantry. Ordered a set of Martha Stewert food storage containers. Should arrive by Friday. I will be utilizing the 2x4 suggestion for canned goods. I found two beautiful baskets at Home Goods to hold our chips/pretzel. The other basket will hold bottled water. Trying to get a head start on Fall cleaning. Feeling excited...thank you!

I know I am about 6 mos too late but just wanted to add putting expiration dates on flour, corn meal etc. Because not everyone can finish everything they buy before they expire.
Joanne that’s exactly right. I’m a baker and flour does get bad so put a strip of masking tape on the bottoms of the container with the date you opened and the date it expires.

I just found your video - thank you for doing it. I've been looking for a suitable can rack for my pantry - your expandable rod!!! perfect. I keep 4 or so cans of each type of item and most of the can racks hold at least double that for cans of the same item. I have an expandable rod available, so I will try that first!

I know this is an older video, but I'm just now seeing this. I LOVE this video. After reading some comments, I don't know why in the world you would get ANY snarky comments. I live in a house, but my kitchen is galley style, if you know what that is. I have very limited pantry space. It's basically a closet with sliding doors. Because the doors slide on top of one another, you cannot put racks on the inside of the doors. I'm LOVING the idea of combining some of those box mixes. We don't get a lot of them, but I do buy some. Definitely a space saver. And having flat shelving with no 'lip' I love the idea of using the spring rod. I'm so going to use that!!!! Thank you for turning your kitchen inside out to help come up with ideas for those of us with teeny tiny spaces.
I love that big one for cereal and stick a hook to the side, and hang a cup on the side. I used to have wasted cereal, no more trying to pour it. Sorry was probably mentioned.

I use the over stove cabinet for pots or pans that aren’t daily use. My stock pot, an extra cast iron skillet, an extra strainer, a bread bowl. I also have the fire extinguisher there. Like your kiddo, I need a step stool to reach this area (and the fridge top, too, so housemates use that).
