I really love this ost. While it reminds everyone else of Kana, I just remember Shinichi's mother. Her death was such a horrible wound for him. Everytime this song played in her scenes (especially when the parasyte took her body killed Shinichi and when she appeared behind Migi in Shinichi's dream at the end of the anime), it makes me feel so sad, as if that isn't my loved one anymore and now they only exist in my memories :'( She loves Shinichi so much, and Shinichi loves her too :'(

Unpopular opinion: kana sucked as a character and I'm glad her death happened.
They think of Kana because they don't even want to relive the door unlocking scene.

I was looking for songs to play on my piano earlier today, and then I came across "Next to you" from Parasyte, I didn't remember this is what that soundtrack was.
Then I started playing it, following the notes.
Lets just say I got PTSD and started sobbing after playing like 7 notes.
The beginning is easy, I'm currently learning it myself. But at 00:37 it gets way more difficult 😢
This is the only music that can make me cry. I allways feel incredibly lonely despite having the best friends and family you could ask for, and I m not sensitive at all, in fact, I can't cry, I sometimes feel numb and disconnected, that s why I relate so much to this anime and that s why this music touches me so much

I haven't watch parasite since years, un till today, while I was listening to a random playlist, I heard it again. In my head I thought, "I've heard this before, many times." And suddenly I remembered parasite and this song, I remembered migi, oh the sadness I felt. I knew how to play the piano so I decided to learn it and I rushed here in TH-cam.

I watched this anime while i.was still feeling emotions, now i'm kinda dull and it's hard to feel something (nothing makes me emotional or at least just a little happy, sad, but not some huge feeling), coming back to this song always make me feels emotional as if i'm taken back to the time i was still full of emotions and remember watching parasyte with all of the emotions there are in this masterpiece
