What a GREAT!!!! band, during an AMAZING ERA!!!! of music. The kids these days, don't know what they're missing. I made sure my son was introduced to this music. I'm 60 now and he's 25. He enjoys the music I grew up with. He's also introduced me to a lot of the bands he likes and I appreciate a lot of his music. Editors, Radiohead, Foals and yes Coldplay, for all you Coldplay haters are just a few that I like now. Thanks for posting this great live performance alekpop44.

I saw ultravox at The Odeon in Birmingham, around 1983, maybe 84. Was next to the stage in front of Midge Ure. Brilliant concert, great energy and the sound was fab.

After the Monument tour of the early 80's there is only one way to do this track. This is it. From a bloke who was there at the 1982 Hammersmith Odeon Gig.
I was there too. First ever concert aged 13 and seen them numerous times after. Had to be at the reunion gig at the same venue in 2009. It lacked the youthful energy for obvious reasons but the sheer musicianship was still there.
1981. That was the year we got cable TV. This song is one of my earliest memories from MTV's broadcast history when they actually played ONLY music videos.

Support act for Human league in Glasgow a couple of years back, blew Human league away. This song is legendary live

Thank God it was recorded in 82. Monument was my first ever vinyl record, and I love it still. Iconic.
