even tho i do not own a cowboy hat but do have a Sabres cap i decided to purchase a TDI Touareg, especially with Buffalo winters arriving soon..great review..i was impressed with no rattles or clunks and the washboard test was smooth inside with hardly any noise..better to listen to rock n roll..thx..
Not really. It's an AWD, using a normal front drive with rear wheel assist as needed. In Australia ones are available with a more traditional 4WD system.
got one two weeks ago...no problems so far, what a ride !

Good review, awesome vehicle! :-)
Does it have a traditional 4x4 drivetrain?

You should drive one with air suspension. That's smooth...
Reliability? Cost of ownership?

TDI does NOT mean turbo diesel. It actually stands for: Turbocharged Direct Injection
In VW marketing lingo it meant turbo diesel.
