Devdas is one of the most iconic films in bollywood. Aishwarya Rai and Maduri Dixit were the top actresses and dancer of that decade which made this song go to a whole another level.
also the jewellery they were wearing was heavy that Aish ripped her ear a bit on the earring but truly a spectacular song and dance for us Indians.

This all dance are Indian classical dance there are so many forms Kuchipudi Bharatanatyam Kathak, so many western person are coming to India to learn this dance and it will take decades for them to perfect in some stance don't, make fool of yourself by simply laughing and making joke of it.

the situation in this song goes like this... the short one is a sex worker who fell in love with same guy the tall one used to love but the tall one is married to some other rich prince now but she couldn't forget her past boyfriend (the hero in the movie) so when she visited him she met the short sex worker girl there and first she didn't like her but now they have become friends and the tall one invited the sex worker to a function in her home and now they are dancing together to forget all sorrows in their life and the tall one is encouraging the short sex worker not to be ashamed of her profession through this song
I cannot believe... They're having such a good time (which is what is happening in the video btw!) and yet all I see is comment after comment insulting them and their reaction. It's a reaction video! The hell did you expect?! Them to sit with their eyes closed, listening to the nuance within each and every note, while writing a treatise on each pseudo-mudra used in the dance??
