Total layman here, but yeah, I'd say these babies are clearly too young to survive on their own. It's sad that they won't be able to grow up in the wild, but I'm glad they've ended up in a safe place where they'll be taken care of!
Sad captive life? You’re mental if you think any of the animals at the Oregon Zoo look unhappy with their captivity. They’re living like kings and spending every day relaxed and happy.
Well living at activity they won’t know any better so it’s not a bad life for them. Plus they get food every day a shelter that won’t break entertainment and people to take care of their needs and wants they’re living like kings. Trust me if you started feeding a bear you would be going through the same thing Please don’t do that animal don’t see the same way we do

Thank you for taking these beautiful cubs in, and for taking care of them! Down here in Eug, most folks act like they've seen armed invading soldiers whenever a cougar wanders into a neighborhood.
It's sad to think about how they lost their mother, but the good thing is that the Oregon Zoo will take care of giving them all the lessons they need to survive.,,,_dº¿ºb_,,,
Haven't been to our Oregon Zoo for years. It's a good one, always working to make habitats as natural as possible. Our elephants are a big deal. Literally! One of them sneezed on me during a 5th grade field trip. Prepare to spend the day.
Well hello little blue eyed fuzz balls welcome to your new home you’ll be safe & very well cared for. Thank you Oregon Zoo for giving these cuties a soft landing when it was needed most please keep us updated on name ideas(also guys don’t forget to read the description it explains why they are now in human care)💛💛😻🤗🥰😘🥹🥹
What a cute little brother and sister they’ll eventually have to be separated so they won’t have kids together but right now they can play and have food all they want❤
I'm glad they've already learned the proper way to sniff a camera. They'll fit right in at Oregon Zoo.
🤭😂
Oh man I know I’m not supposed and I wouldn’t, but I really want to cuddle these babies
Me too. I guess I’ll just have to go and find our little house panther.
Me too. I could never work with wild animals because I would instantly get myself killed by trying to pet them all
Chin scratches!!!
I think they already look too big for cuddles. You need to cuddle them when they are 6-8 weeks or even earlier so they'll be used to it.
Same lol
Nothing can match the beauty of a cat, no matter the size.

@@asterlofts1565Depends on the dog. Some are hideous and barely surviving.
Yes they are very esthetically pleasing creatures.

As sad as a captive life is, thank you for saving them from harm without their mom to protect them.
With any luck they’ll be able to be released one day

Look to Canada and how they are allowing them to hunt the cougars.
No wonder these cubs are orphaned.

I can see these two missing the forest, and they really miss thier mom.
So glad that they have each other!❤
Look at them playing to the camera trying to get adopted by me!!! I’ll take them 💖🤣
Something must of happened to Mom😭
May she RIP knowing they will at least have fully fed, safe, and be cared for from now on.
Pumas! Mountain Lions! Cougars too!
Welcome home, little orphans.
We love you too, Oregon Zoo!

There beautiful. I'm happy someone found them and they're safe. ❤
Looks like they’re real happy in the industrial surrounding, lots of noise and foreign smells and nothing natural around them. Lovely.
Here kitty, kitty…. 😂❤
They're so cute.(I know that when they're full-grown,they're not so cute,but right now,they're adorable.)
Please 🙏🏽 take great care…they’re both beautiful. 🙏🏽💫✨❤️
Thank you for saving them. ❤❤ They are beautiful.
They are precious lives❤❤
Never seen seen baby cougars (in real life or on camera) before now. Apparently they just look like smaller adult cougars.
These aren't quite baby. The even younger ones are arguably cuter than domestic cat babies! And they are completely spotted 😮
Protect them please 🙏

it's amazing how much they move and act like housecats, just chunkier!

They should go to the Wild Cat Sanctuary so they can live as wild a life as possible.

I need one as a pet now holy shit they are cute
Give them a golden retriever to raise and mother them.
They have each other and can learn from each other.

I remember when I was hissed at by a rescue cougar. I STILL wanted to hug him even though he wanted to eat me
At least Safe. 💕💕 Adorable Where's the Mother, why Abandoned??
No enrichment? Why is it all bare? Poor babies…
Wonder how these 2 will get along with the other 2 Cougers?
The zoo should put some toys out for them. As youngsters they need to play and explore something other than a barren cage
Awww
It looks like they're about to lose their baby spots from their fur; means they're on their way to become adult catamounts :3
Rescued was good, but sad if they can't be released.
Please tell their story? What happened to their mom? Will they be caged and untouched their whole lives? They are so cute!
I’m not sure what their future is but due to their young age, they can’t go back to the wild. However, they won’t be separated.
