(Gemmy) Funky Monkeys - I Like To Move It

This is one of 3 iltmi funky monkeys I have owned.
Unfortunately, my first is long gone now. I got it as an Easter gift around 2012. It was brand new in the box, but the arms were split. I tried to fix it, failed, and then it sat around all taken apart, until it was most likely thrown out.
I eventually got another one a few years ago off of eBay. I didn’t really like that one though, and I ended up using it for a custom once I got this one.
This one came from Carl Gagnon, and is a Canadian model. The Canadian models basically have skins identical to the skins on the monkeys with the other mechanisms, as well as having a Canadian button. Interestingly enough, there are versions just like these sold in the US, that were sold at KB toys. The more common variant was sold at Walmart, and has the normal type of skin, different feet, and the Walmart models typically just look a bit off… almost all of the Walmart models I have seen have wonky faces, crooked eyes, etc. I’m not really sure why they’re all like that.

Probably my least favorite Funky Monkey, but it's still cool, this series really grew on me, the character designs are so cool looking!

Very very very valid opinion. Although, I like this one more than the over the hill one. Over the hill is just a crappier version of purple birthday, and I was never a fan of the shirts they put on these.

I didn’t know funky monkeys ever made it to KB, weren’t almost all their stores closed by that point?

This one, Gonna make you sweat, and Wiggle it were all sold at KB. And no they were still open for the first few years the monkeys were being made I think?
