I was in a small class of around 30ish. More than 60% disappeared after I got my green badge. Many didn't have their credentials, missing classes, attitude or bad background. This was in January. I was one of the lucky ones. I was first picked for everything, including getting a tnt for tanker. I believe this is a sign of a successful career I'm on. Definitely going to lease a truck.
Thinking about applying and starting with prime to get my cdl and experience .. plan on staying with the company but also the lease side sounds like a good investment . Any tips or advice ?
Kinda corny they make you leave your job bring you in then shit can you if you missed a credential or something they should do the full background before showing up
They give you everything you need to bring. If the individual is irresponsible, then that says it all. There are really a few things to bring and pack in an organizer or a binder. It's literally your DL, birth cert, and permit(non cdl holders). I believe there's one more thing I can't fully remember. They will not take ssc. Everything has to be original.
I applied at Prime in 01/31 and they denied me because they told me I had to have worked in the Past 6 Months 😒. That was Weird/Dumb. I got Fired for False Accusations, The company said I said something which I didn't 🤨, I told em to review the Cameras and they couldn’t prove it so I Filed for Unemployment and Unemployment asked the reason why I was terminated from work then Unemployment called my job and my Job couldn’t confirm that I had said anything or a reason for getting fired so I was Qualified for unemployment Benifits nd been living jobless for 3 months (Oct-Jan) I'm going to have to Try again in May. WISH ME LUCK
If you’re a experienced driver thinking about coming over to prime ….will they make me go thru training ? I’m thinking about becoming a Lease operator.
Depending on how recent. And at least 6 months. Pretty much. Orientation, few classes, and you get a truck. No mileage requirements. That's the info I've gathered.
Hi truck of being my name is Trina I do have my CDL already I tried to apply with prime do you really have to have your hazmatiq at the time of your application process or and what are they paying for orientation and doing the training program what is the pay for prime
From my research you have to have a tanker endorsement, not hazmat, you get $200 a week for food and stuff during orientation and PSD training, then after you get your license you get $900 a week during TNT
@@LobbsTrucking If you have a cdl already the pay is $900 a week while in training . They recently raised it so its possible to make $1000 while training ..
@@an6077 They didn’t “raise” it. It’s still $900 a week but you have the option to make more depending on your productivity. I’m in TNT right now for prime as I type this message. Most people come into TNT not wanting to drive 11 hours a day… so if you put in that work and drive 11 hours daily and run your clock out, then yes, you can can make more then $900. Just remember that they’re still taking $25 a week from the orientation pay and you’re still getting taxes taken out 💯

Did they drug test you using hair?
Did they hair test you ?
@chachi No. They had a specific drug test location in Dallas, TX. I had to go for a urinalysis. Not sure about the hair follicles.

@@shaydesofblue2281 thank you ! I have 2 years of experience & a few endorsements was just wondering
Prime denied me employment, cause they say swift have me down as refusing a load almost two years ago. Which isn’t true
Try Wilson Logistics , they haul Prime freight and their lease drivers make the same..
Did you say you need a twic card?

I’m pretty sure they only require tanker endorsement, not hazmat

If you been driving for years are you still going to get train by a trainer?
Nah you’ll go through a refreshing class that’s all
So basically no felons
Hi! Do you have a your recruiters number I can get in contact with? I’m getting my cdl this Wednesday and my tanker endorsement Thursday
How far back do they go on the hair follicle test?
I thought it was just urine
They don't Hair Test
15 1/2 years !
unsubscribing, you don't respond back to questions.
