Despite being in the middle of a world tour, they kindly dropped in on our city to play for free, giving all proceeds to help folks in need. They didn't even mention this in the video description! They played so good. James did the intro fantastically, Kirk did the solo with no mistake, Lars with his drumming and especially his footwork during the double bass part were very good and audible, and for last Rob was excellent, as usual. You still rock! \m/

This was by far the best performance Metallica has ever done. The solos were executed perfectly by Kirk, with an incredible amount of emotion and pain. James Hetfield's vocals sound better than they have in a long time, and Lars isn't doing stupid random fills, and his double bass sounded fantastic. I swear they have gotten much better with age, I can safely say this is probably better than the studio version.
