This was a lovely refreshing walk through the peer, I'm surprised how many restaurants are just sitting empty with no patrons. I enjoyed hearing the small snippets of music through this.

Congratulations! Make a good couple. I didn't know there was a town called Huntington, it sounded like the name of a disease to me, Huntington's chorea. Just watching this tonight, 1/9, but I hope you guys aren't affected at all by the fires! I guess Huntington Beach is pretty far from Pacific Palisades and Malibu etc. It looks like a good 95 min. or more from there on the map. I have no idea, I've never even been out to the west coast. All I know of the area is from movies, TV, and from the past six years I was doing a lot of flight simulation on PC and I often flew in and out of LAX and even flew to Catalina Island a few times. Or I would take virtual flights from LAX out to Telluride in Colorado, or LAX to Seattle SeaTAC. Was a lot of fun. But the fires are scary and horrifying. Anyway, Huntington Beach looks very nice, laid back, good food, etc.

I moved to los alamitos from amarillo TX in 1990. Pretty soon met some friends that were the most hardcore bodyboarders and we hitched rides down pch to huntington and sometimes salt creek in the summer but in the wintertime we would have that northwest swell come in and south side of the pier at Seal Beach would go off with the best bowls and tubes. Shout out to my friends Dave, the other Dave and Chad. where did those days and times go, tears lost in the rain. I get so emotional thinking how good we had it, the naive and warm days of the 90s were so special and magical - no internet, everything was so real and raw and we actually had to practice delayed gratification - not everything was in our face like these days. I've read the comment a million times on the internet and it's true for me as well - I would give anything to go back for one day in the 90s, going out to bodyboard in the morning with a wetsuit then when it warmed up taking off our wetsuits, eating so food we had stashed on the beach and going back out for a couple more hours. Sorry for the long meandering post but NOSTALGIA will kill a man. Take care everyone and as much as humanity sucks it's mostly the top percent in positions of authority that are sociopathic - the rest of us can be good and help each other.
