Out of all the Hollywood spy movies the Bourne ones come the closest to how it really is. There isn't much glamour working for the "Company." So if after watching one these movies and your wishing or wanting to seriously consider doing it, know this- you have to give up a lot in your life. As for this song it gets sooo much right that it's f#@$$@#g spooky. When it comes to my life it's spot on!
If you can remember before The Bourne Identity came out, people questioned whether Damon could carry an action thriller. If you remember the posters they said "Matt Damon The Bourne Identity". Once he was praised for the film, the promo poster for The Bourne Supremacy said "Matt Damon *IS* Jason Bourne".

Some of my favorite scenes are of Matt Damon just walking or even standing still. He does not make mistakes, does not do random, always a purpose, always reason. Scary part, he is.
Me too, Claudia. Its a coming of age story, albeit superhero spy ish! Lol Minus the kung fu stuff, i still see myself as Jason- always searching for a bit of who i am and what my purpose in this world is.
I loved the way they showed how he figured things out. At the farm, after he sent the family into the basement he searches for things to fight with. Finds the shotgun shells, thinks "where is the gun?" sees the Christmas tree and looks immediately on top of the tall cupboard.

Best version of this title. Great clip too. This trilogy is one of the best I have seen. I still have a big weakness for Franka Potente and I regret her premature departure.

Matt Damon did an outstanding job bringing this character to life. I remember the novel, and trying to figure out “early” how a guy with amnesia could switch between languages so easily AND kick butt if necessary. Even he had issues as these skills would just…show up.

The crew of a fishing boat found him floating in the ocean…unconscious, a minor gunshot wound and no identification. They fixed him up, brought him ashore and forgot about him (no pun intended). The scene where the police caught him sleeping in the park was portrayed as revelatory for him. He legit didn’t know he spoke German (I think it was) til he started speaking it…didn’t know he had serious arrest-resisting skills until he served up two cans of whoop-ass for two policemen…
