Sure is, it's just the LTO reset that makes it a little bad especially for player who have a day job. It makes it difficult for them as they may not get enough time to play to reach 120 before the banner expires..😅

Eh, I don't think the gacha system needs fixing. I only pull for characters when I have the currency to guarantee them, and only for characters I want. If anything, I'm glad they're going with a relatively low guarantee requirement. Whether that carries over from banner to banner makes no difference in my opinion. Plus, the great majority of characters in the game are likely to not be "limited." meaning they'll be added to the standard pool to obtain as off-rates. All this, plus duplicates not being important for character mechanics is all I could ever ask for.
From what I've heard as well, dupes only increase the stats of the characters and don't really give any extra features. So there is no reason to try and go for dupes. Not to mention, the characters do get added to the standard pool once their banner is over if they follow the Arknights route. All in all, this is a perfectly fine system and even better than the "standard" gacha system that most games use
I think that could fix if the dev give player a way to passive farm pull currency like in og game (disclaimer: the og arknight have it but rarely being used because lack of efficiency compared to being used for other resources)

120 garuntee being able to carry over is nice but not super decisive on whether the gacha is f2p friendly. If it is going by normal Arknights gacha it will be simple to save for limited characters and most other characters will be added to the gacha pool where they can spook you the next time you lose a 50/50 for the guaranteed 6 star at 80 pulls (which does carry over). And it looks like dupes are not important which is also a plus

Dupes gotta need an impact tho. Whether it be in combat or aesthetic. Whales don't just spend on useless things without a reason. They may not make the dupes that impactful in combat for 6* but they could at least make the character aesthetic more pleasing. Like what they did on weapons.
1:40 A weird pause in between "Jupiter-like planet". It may give an expression that this indeed our Jupiter from the Solar System, and it is not. For this length of a video spending so much time talking about whether or not there was a plane crush (which is very insignificant detail) seems unreasonable. The main protagonist from Arknights also has an amnesia introduction route. While it is for sure an overused concept - but the original game played it really well story-wise. And second - MC from Arknights is directly related in some way to Endinistrator from Endfield, so it is not exactly playing the same card again - it is expending on cards that are already played in the lore. Yes, amount of stamina can be increased by playing the game. It is not hardlocked to only two dodge attempts. Swimming is isn't there is due to what Exploration design is set for the game. Same for climbing and gliding - they just build a different type of exploration. As for a bike, we would probably see it at some point in the future. How much predatory the gacha system is we would be able to see only after a release of the game, after the game's economy becomes clear. For now it seems relatively free-to-play friendly, except for the whales that aim to get multiple copies of the characters. And important notice here is that Arknights is designed in a way where duplicates of the characters are largely doesn't matter (in contrary to many other gachas). They are nice to have, but that is about it. Overall, I would it was a good enough video.
Incase you don't know yet about the gacha system - Hard pity is 120, compare to genshin (180) and wuwa (160) - 6 star is garanteed in 60-70 pulls - This system is F2p friendly and pain in the ass for the whalers (but the thing is, whalers does not actually need to spend a lost to dupes since those dup aren't necessary and only add little stat boost) - The rate up banner will not be FOMO as genshin and wuwa since they doing the same gacha system of the original game wherein after the character rate up banner ended, that character will be added to the standard pool so if you didn't get laevatein on the her banner, you can still get her on that standard pool anyway - The Weapon banner is also easy to pull and base on the content creators who play this, you can get 6star weapon once in a 5weeks - The rate for a 6* weapon is 4%, and you can guarantee a 6* weapon with 8 (eight) 10-pulls. You also have to consider the fixed rate drops (it is almost practically free if you think about it) Well other than that, this was a well made video for a neutral and critical review of endfield CBT with just a little bit of need of improving the understanding some parts of gacha.
One thing you can say is this game might not be predatory as gacha games we know in terms of pulling but a predatory to your time since you will take a lot of time understanding , building and managing the automation

That is true, actually I've similar feeling for the 120 pull as well. Players with limited time to play may not get an opportunity to get any banner character because of no carry over. I understand it goes to standard pool after the banner expires but over a period of time with lots of more characters added to the game it will also become difficult to get the desired character from it, specially for new players who may join late. No offence, please don't get me wrong I' just speaking of my mind.

They remove old characters from the rate up banner and transfer them to kernel banner. This kernel banner hold only old characters only and it is different from the standard banner and limited rate up banner But for now lets see what they gonna change in the OBT when it comes up 😂
i do agree amnesia wasnt needed, its implied that character is the same doc from arknights and that doc rarely talks about his past so the amnesia angle really was not necessary. its also already fine for the endmin to be unfamiliar with things he was stuck in a pod for 10 years. the amnesia just was not neccesary
Well its less like it wasnt nessacary and more like since we were attacked while waking we didnt get it all back. Also how do you introduce a world and build a world or characters when your character already knows everything, it would be wierd. Also in the story they hint at if they get to the sarcophagus they would get the memories back

oh and another thing the factory was in its development when doc went in, he wouldnt know anything on how to deploy it we're chucking out prototypes so its completely viable to explain it. in fact the amnesia takes out a really potentially interesting dialouge with perlica as doc keeps bringing up initial phase methods but perlica keeps correcting "we dont do that anymore it didnt really work"

As a note they mightve used Unity but its HEAVILY modified. (And unity is known to work better on mobile then ue) And stamina can be increased. Also you shouldve talked about the weapon banner too and how amazing it is.
As for swimming, i mean its not a fully open world so they likely just dont want you getting to where your not supposed to be. And for vehicles maybe in later patches? The current areas just dont feel like they would work to having one, it feels not needed for these smaller areas.

For the swimming, I think it's good to have it because otherwise it limits the movability but that also depends on how the world is designed, otherwise for restricted areas we are used to invisible barriers as well, pretty much, which appears once you close in. And yeah, for vehicles it makes sense, it just I really like to have vehicles in the games and this game just looks like one which can really have it. Hopefully with some future update with bigger maps..😊

Right now, I actually don't have an idea of how the zone maps look, but the way I'm thinking about it is by putting those invisible barriers at the far exterior of the maps. Something similar to GTA. You should be able to swim anywhere, but once you go far enough, like swimming in the ocean, there should be a barrier that prevents you from going past it. However, within that border, you should be able to swim anywhere.
There's a lore reason on why they have amnesia. If i remembered i correctly, Sarcophagus(the thing they're from) are some kind of pods that will make them sleep for years with some caviat and being amnesia is one of them I kindly forgot what Sarcophagus does in OG arknight
In Arknights, sarcophagus was supposed to heal dead cells through cellular regression over a period of time, reverting the damaged cells back to their original, undamaged state. Which also transformed Mephisto, and Infected Ancient, into an avian creature since the Terrans turned out to be descended from creatures native to Talos-II. And you are right, they placed Doctor in one of the sarcophagus and he did suffered complete memory loss for reason unknown.. it was never clarified...I found it on wiki though, which was last updated on 9th.
@@EveryBit-Game There is still no explanation to why Mephisto turned into a bird, there's no explanation on how the sarcophagus works, as Kaltsit said it is a "life functions restoration device for home use" and up to this point the only race capable of using it is the precursors, aka the Doctor race, the one Kristen used was modded but we don't now if it will work or not, and the Doctor got amnesia because of Theresa, the first time the Doctor woke he was with all his memories.
hopefully the gacha stays the same people only focusing on the cons while ignoring the other pros where its just a better system overall when we factor it all like 160-180 pity carries on or next 6* guaranteed after 50/50 is the only pros some other gacha has while they have multiple cons that Endfield did better its balanced as it is and if we want it to be more generous in one factor, the other factor will get greedy to compensate it as gacha is calculated for profit, the fact they just choose to evolved OG AK gacha system is better than following the same 3D Gacha RPG banner formula, newcomers of AK are just either not used to it yet or biased on the one factor ignoring the rest system
I agree, and please don't get me wrong, every gacha has it's pros and cons but is it bad to expect something to improve further? and if we go with the mind set of ignoring certain aspects of it just because it's better than last one then how can we expect to get a system which is even better for everyone?
Don’t need to be a genius to see the combat system is a complete fail. On the paper, it’s a great but on the field it’s another thing. On the field: spamming normal attack -> wait all full SP and ultimate. There is no utility to swap, no perfect dodge/block/parry… Player still in the AOE and takes damage like a no brain. The combat is so boring … Others characters don’t take any damage, only the leader take damage. Aether Gazer all characters are on the field and it works perfectly.
I think it's a bit early to judge though, since the game's development hasn't yet reached complete maturity yet, it was just, sufficient to conduct the beta test.

Hypogriph can update by rintroduce a new request. Still 6 month but I never see a gatcha out during the summer break. Wuwa, PGR Global, Aether Gazer Global is always during the end of the first quarter somewhere in April or May. I can't imagine a complete rework of combat until those dates ...
I totally get your perspective. At least they made some combat improvement over the last iteration and to be honest, I haven't heard much complaints about the combat so far. However it's not flawless, what I have heard is that it's not easy to build the SP because you have to dodge a lot and if you don't complete your basic combo then you don't get to build your SP fast which makes the combat challenging and the team building also matters quite a lot since different characters have different abilities. But since I haven't played it myself, I can't give an opinion, as I prefer to try first before saying something. Also games are very subjective right? you don't have to like the games I might enjoy. Who knows probably I'll agree with you completely once I get to test it myself...🙂..but as of now I would rather like to stay neutral and hopeful for the game's future.

I totally get your perspective. At least they made some combat improvement over the last iteration and to be honest, I haven't heard much complaints about the combat so far. However it's not flawless, what I have heard is that it's not easy to build the SP because you have to dodge a lot and if you don't complete your basic combo then you don't get to build your SP fast which makes the combat challenging and the team building also matters quite a lot since different characters have different abilities. But since I haven't played it myself, I can't give an opinion, as I prefer to try first before saying something. Also games are very subjective right? you don't have to like the games I might enjoy. Who knows probably I'll agree with you completely once I get to test it myself...🙂..but as of now I would rather like to stay neutral and hopeful for the game's future.
