    As long as I can use the "crusher" feat with the monk I'm fine! If I can use weapon mastery too, that would be great!

      Why crusher and not piercer?

      Because of the forced movement from the feat! And if a weapon has the "Push"mastery and you can crusher push aswell! Then the shenanigans of a martial battlefield controller monk can be real fun to play!
      I'm currently playing a Variant human mercy monk that started with the crusher feat and I just boost my Dex and Wis whenever I level! it has been real fun! I even think of adding Sharpshooter at level 12 instead of Wis to use my "Dedicated" Sling with more damage!

    Really nice to see a revamp of the Epic Boons compared to last PHB and something planned for Level 20 campaigns instead of it seemingly just teetering out

    please tell me you have fixed the eldritch knight to feel like a prober spellblade class.. especially since bladesinging is gone. (not that bladesinging didn't have it's share of issues)

      @@HuginnHufflepuff it's not featured as one of the base subclasses that will be included in the one dnd book. You can still use the 5E Tasha's cauldron version, and they'll eventually release an updated one dnd version most likely, but for now, it's in an awkward spot

    Its worrying that WOTC looked at all the feedback that combat was boring and took too long, and thought this would be solved by adding in even more combat powers and options to a core class like the Fighter. I can 100% predict a whole host of videos coming out on You Tube by the end of the year asking "Why does every fight now take at least 4 hours to resolve?".
    If you want to make combat more interesting you make it more deadly, increasing the risks involved. Fighters with massive HP, who can heal themselves and take multiple actions from 1st level might sound great on paper, but these superhero classes are going to be so boring to play as they are practically invincible.

    Past level 10 the game is so unbalanced we usually start new characters. So these high level feats, such as Epic Boon are cool but never used.

    • @axelexplode

    • @van_daddy_z
      @van_daddy_z 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      It’s only unbalanced if your Dm isn’t bringing the heat. But I could see that RAW. In two level 17 campaigns. I DM one of them and both us DMs make challenging encounters, but rely heavily on homebrew monsters and challenges.

    This is all overcomplicating the game beyond belief. As an 1980's AD&D player, everything since seems about complicating things and over powering characters. This is all unnecessary to enjoy a great game.
