What stands out is the way the director has done an amazing job of not just turning all the kids into identical clones - they are all allowed to express their individuality while still fitting into the whole. It really shines through in this recording.

Something that has ALWAYS impressed me is that the singers are “allowed” to move to the music that they are performing! I’ve been in choirs where you almost pass out because your knees are so locked! KEEP SINGING! KEEP MOVING & GROOVING!
True to form, ONE VOICE CHILDREN'S CHOIR knocks this performance out of the park! Lovely, pure, natural voices; expertly coached and trained; every child visibly engaged and authentic; top-drawer production quality. I've been a HUGE fan of OVCC since the first time I heard them. Thanks to my daughter, I'm also a huge fan of Justin Bieber. It is an unfortunate choice, though, to put these lyrics in the minds, hearts and mouths of children. I would be devastated to hear the one I love say, "You're the only one I'll ever love." As a teenager/young adult, I was "in love" with "the one" more than once! As an adult, tomorrow isn't guaranteed. When I'm gone, I hope against hope that my wife will find love again. The last thing I'd want is to be the only one she'll ever love. Made in the image of God, who IS love, our capacity to love is unimaginable!
