Ben you truely are an inspiration to many, your like a 1 man Army and do well off of castaway and used up equipment. I respect what you do providing entertainment along with your adventures. Good on you mate!
I'm just like you. I've been looking since Monday for a new Ben video to watch while scrapping and I was finally blessed today with one that's over an hour long. I also enjoy your videos. It's amazing how much stuff you get to scrap, and it's quite obvious you know what you're doing. Totally awesome so keep up the interesting scrapping and videos.
I've seen you recovering the various items from e-waste for precious metals recovery but I was wondering if you actually recover the gold, silver, ect... yourself?
That was a Brilliant Pick Up - always sooo enjoyable to come with You - the Van was nearly Full - I seen Lots of Alu ! Lovely VSD Scrap out - whats inside ! And here we have a Chook Helper ! Lots of Copper - Alu and Steel Values - hey - that was Not a Bad Scrapping Session ! You need a sharp smaller Drill Bit ! Great Video and Cheers from QLD !!!!
When my dad had problems with some stripped screws he would use valve grinding compound on the screw head retry the screwdriver and viola almost always the screw would come out. Enjoy the channel
Excellent video awesome content that was a decent pickup when it's all clean you will have some good money thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
When the torque screws and Allen wrenches don't fit its because they are standard instead of metric or visa versa. I'm currently scrapping a fancy 300 or 400 pound electric wheelchair, the kind that you could stand up in, weight is with batteries out. Wheelchair is in my van because it's too heavy for me to get out of by myself. Well had to goto hardware store to get metric Allen wrenches. 😡 Now waiting for spring because old man winter is dumping ❄️ or 🥶. L💖Ve You! Learned a lot about scrapping from you. THANK YOU!. New scrapper from Minnesota in America. 🇺🇸
Do you ever use a small shovel for this stuff? 19:30 Somebody should make a generic screw remover so you don't have to change bits. Sort of like an end mill with a hex shaft. (screw extractor)
Top of the Morning Ben! I been watching your videos and scrapping like a mad mad. I scraped 50 hard drives, 20 laptops, 80 motherboards, 20 P.C. towers, cut roughly 40 ram cards and cut 125 computer ends! I'm getting a big batch together for gold recovery! Do you think I should make videos on how I get gold out of stuff? I try to do things as fast as possible. Thank you for your channel brother! I love watching your videos while I'm scrapping. Today is day 3! Yesterday I put in 14 hours!
Take a break when you have to. Go get a coffee and let your blood pressure relax. Just a thought. None of us mind at all. Please take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍
Ben, Very much enjoyed your var speed drive scrap out. Your commentary is always excellent! Do suggest you throw in my local tidbits such as inflation conditions, whether your egg prices are terrible like here in the US, property taxes holding steady or rising etc. Having visited your lovely country many times, I for one, am interested in keeping tap on our southern friends as the US media is terribly political and full of far left and far right BS these days. How many years before you plan to retire Ben? Thanks for excellent vid!
A manual labor helper will save your body and will definitely pay for itself. Even if it is just for an hour or two. There are apps to have people meet to do a couple hours of work. $30 for 2 hours of help could either make you go faster or get to more scrap.
Do you just go to these places and take stuff from the bins or do you ask to set up pick ups first? Trying to get into e waste scrapping but not sure how to go about getting big hauls like this
You should find out if the scrap yard is selling the heat sinks to there buyers as extruded or cast they might be pulling a scam on you and other scrapers
I think that being your not processing old electronics for gold .you taking this waste away from guys like myself the chance to get the prescious metal from such things. You should sell it to scrapers to process. I live in the us I don't pass up these metals.
It still saddens me to know your scrap yard has convinced you they do you favors then completely rip you off with those heat sinks. I’m getting close to a dollar a pound US for those right now.
Ben you truely are an inspiration to many, your like a 1 man Army and do well off of castaway and used up equipment. I respect what you do providing entertainment along with your adventures. Good on you mate!
Scrap sessions are always cool background videos while I'm tinkering! Thanks mate 👍😊
It's drizzling here, I finally have some free time to get in my workshop and an hour long Ben video pops up, I'd say dilemma but nope....Ben it is😁

Good morning Ben. Great job. 2' snow ❄️ here. Big Bear Lake Weather, in California is yukky though. Please take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😎😎😎
You should get a inexpensive 12 V winch that you can attach to a D ring, and just mount the D ring in your van to pull the carts up
Hey Ben, from one scrapper to another 👋👍
Nice pick up mate loads to strip and sort
Crazy how many different screws are in those things

Left handed drill bits work good
Please secure this Commodore box! It Has value for collectors. And thanks for the new video.
We always silver plated all our bus bars I would think these are silver plated as well. Might make good material to test your silver recovery process
always to follow you ,

ever thought about a hand winch or comealong to pull bins inside the van?
Can you cut up the big heat sinks into smaller sizes to get extruded prices or is it not worth the time? Thanks for the video.

I've took apart stuff with 5 different sizes of star head screws in them
I hope you keep doing that, when you have a pickup and then do a scrap in the sane video
400 kilo winch in the van would make loading carts a lot easier for us old guys.
Can get them for about $90 in Australia.
Take a break when you have to. Go get a coffee and let your blood pressure relax. Just a thought. None of us mind at all. Please take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍
love it
Good tear down
grind the end bit off the torx bit, it will go again...

You need an adapter so u can put the socket on you impact
Torx screws are little bit challenge🤣

The copper bus bars are silver plated
They sort... Ben throws it on a mountain in the van...
Do you just go to these places and take stuff from the bins or do you ask to set up pick ups first? Trying to get into e waste scrapping but not sure how to go about getting big hauls like this
TIME TO BUY AND TO REPLACE TORX BITS ??
When will you do a street scrapping vídeo?
Where is all this that it's just out for the picking?
just run the torx across a grinder gently take off a small bit
hey ben if you find a oscilloscope can i buy it ?
Be nickel plated to help keep from oxidation
Where do you live I want to come home which you buddy!!!
Can't complain about a hundred bucks of aluminum.
Im am very curious on how your allowed to do these pick ups? The olace just lets you do it for free?
Yep
@@eWasteBen hmmm interesting.. I wonder if I go to e waste around Ware I live if they will do the same.
You got a lot aluminum
Yay😁
Hey Ben l love your videos, l have an e waste business in Africa, do you know which companies l can sell my Ewaste anywhere in the world.
Heck yea
You changed more bits out in this video than I've seen you change out in all the videos you've put out together...lol
ممكن مساعد فالمهنة الاحترافية
You need to phone around to other yards when you have a gaylord box of extruded.
And a big hello to your friend. Maybe his Cameo on TH-cam. 🙂👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😎😎😎
Ben you must buy another van more bigger
Ben, you should have extra tips due to the volume of work that you do.
stret scraping pleaz
👏👏
👍
You should find out if the scrap yard is selling the heat sinks to there buyers as extruded or cast they might be pulling a scam on you and other scrapers

BUSS bars, not BUZZ
Whats problem?your car is near to waste...
You need to take bins with you. You are working too hard otherwise.
The company is colecting the things separate, Ben is throwing everything on one pile just to separate it again at home. Very smart!
Ben, buy a few new packs of torx and some cobalt drill bits ffs, its false economy with all the time you are wasting
I think that being your not processing old electronics for gold .you taking this waste away from guys like myself the chance to get the prescious metal from such things. You should sell it to scrapers to process. I live in the us I don't pass up these metals.
He can't ship them to you though, lol. The shipping will cost more than the scrap itself.
cmon get some decent bits.
Wery drunk
You ever think of getting a granulator for all that wire you always get?
It still saddens me to know your scrap yard has convinced you they do you favors then completely rip you off with those heat sinks. I’m getting close to a dollar a pound US for those right now.
You really should invest in a lift for your van.
