    I've owned a couple Leathermans over the years and used them extensively for work and everyday, and for some reason, after the pliers,, the most-used tool was the scissors. It's amazed me many times, how useful having a good quality little scissors on your belt or in your pocket can be.

    In the olden days unless you were a “gentleman” in a suit you wore what we consider a purse nowadays. It was a cross-shoulder satchel that had gear in it. Fire starter and a candle, string or thin rope, a smaller back up knife (because you had a larger knife on your belt), paper and pencil, shot and wadding or later cartridges, a map and compass, and whatever else you might need in an emergency in case you didn’t have your horse and saddle bags. My ancestors were the Seneca and the Scott’s both carried shoulder bags. This is just a modern version of that.

    I recommend the Naray sling bag, it is intentionally made for CCW from the chest, and is at the perfect angle. Can even be pull from the back to the front quickly if you prefer to carry it as a back pack. It has a deliberate pull tab which can be yanked and immediately undo the area where your CCW is velcroed, yet also secures the pouch when not in use so it doesn’t come undone accidentally. The zipper lip also doesn’t hang over your holster as it does in the FUPA, allowing for much better purchase when drawings so you aren’t having to maneuver around the zipper teeth.

  • @Echo4PapaBravo
    @Echo4PapaBravo ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You can keep the chest rig straps attached and stuff them under that dangler and leave it velcroed closed to keep that kit together without taking up any space in the pockets.

    Bought an olight during an Amazon sale over a year ago. Haven't even opened it. I don't have a good holster for it. I have a leather holster I bought hand made when Glocks first came out with the 17. Every time I use the holster, I think of the old man at the saddle shop down in Austin who made it for me. I used to joke that he had a price for the leather, and then you got all the stories for free. He made my rodeo saddle too, and I did pretty good with it. I gifted it back to him when I stopped, he put it on display. He told me he sold a hundred just like it because of the display, 'used by a real rodeo cowboy'. Did I mention he used to stretch the truth out of his stories just a bit😁😁

    • @degen2789

      I just hope for you that it doesn't arrive ruined, because otherwise It's a great piece of kit. Mine arrived tarnished, and customer service is impossible to get a hold of. After finally sending it in for repair, I waited four months to hear nothing. So I sent more emails. When they finally got back to me all they had to say was "I'm not sure what this is about." even though my order number and information is in that email, and the other ten emails I had to send. I feel like a complete fool for falling for all the "made in America, top quality equipment, soe guarantee!" bs that they push. They talk about their quality assurance as if they examine every order before shipping, but apparently not mine. That's all they had to do and this never would've happened, and the repair is literally them just putting a gromet in an already made hole. Four month job apparently. They boast proudly about their customer service. Let me tell you, I am not the first dissatisfied customer they've had you can find similar complaints throughout youtube. But if what they say is true - "We serve a customer base that demands the highest caliber product and service from us, and we are proud to say that we have never had an unsatisfied customer." - then apparently I am.
      Nothing says we love the American people by charging a working class man a premium price x2 that of other products, it arriving broken, and then ignoring 90% of his emails only to respond saying "Yea, we don't know who you are bro."
      10/10 would never buy from them again even though the quality is also 10/10. Not gonna risk it coming broken and having my time and money wasted.

    I do the same thing with the shrink tube on all my zippers. I’ve found that the SOE Velcro holster works fantastic on smaller guns with lights that are almost the exact same dimensions as the muzzle end of the pistol (think Sig P365/TLR7, Taurus G2C/Olight PL Mini-2, or Glock 43X/Surefire XSC). The SOE FUPA chest rig system replaced my Hill People Gear Runner’s Kit Bag because there just wasn’t enough Velcro to secure my firearm in the HPG system. SOE is where it’s at! MITMFUSA🇺🇸

    I might have missed it, but do you explain somewhere why you wear two watches ?

    If you leave the gap in the zipper, you can just grab anything you can on the front to rip it open... Usually with your support hand

      I thought I saw a video of someone doing that, but I couldn’t find the video a second time to confirm. I was hoping wranglerstar would show it on this video. Do you know if the smaller fanny pack does it as well? Looking for a smaller option for my wife…

      @@Wick-d_Trucking not sure from personal experience, but they use the same quality zippers so I imagine it would be the same. Get on one of the SOE daily streams and ask John.

    SOE went over this in a livestream the other day. He mentioned you had several holster options.

    Cloud Defensive's lights are now all dual fuel and I think ProHo is missing the bus by not looking at their offerings. I have their MCH Duty, HC and EDC lights (all are dual fuel), as well as 3 of their Gen 1 REIN's (not DF) and 2 OWL's (not DF). They are by far, the best lights on the market. Followed by Surefire.

      Honestly at this point I’d say it’s preference. I’d say there’s a reason why so many professionals choose surefire for duty use. They’re solid lights, but it comes down to how much you want to pay and how you plan on using it.

    I love how people dislike you or call you a madman because you aren't putting up with tyranny any longer. Good little government subjects they are. Stay plugged into the media little minions.
