    Hi Shilpa, I am living in Germany for studies for the last 5 years, but I also ha e Canadian PR. Denmark and Germany are close to each other in terms of geography and system. But one thing where Canada is a heaven for South Asians is English language and easy citizenship. This makes you loyal to Canada than any European country that forces you to learn their language. And trust me you can't feel part of such a society that always judges you because you can't speak German or Danish as fluent as the natives. So I am in favour of Canada 🇨🇦 ❤

      I think specially south Europe is racist as compared to English speaking countries. English speaking countries are best. And don't want to talk about east Europe which is suffering from poverty.

    Hi Shilpa,
    We lived in Denmark for 3 years (2018-2021) and then moved to Canada in December 2021. All points you made are valid and Canada definitely wins. Life in Denmark felt like pressure cooker where they do not value immigrants as much Canada does. Enjoyed you video. Keep up the good work. 😊😊

    Well, sisters, it's not a matter of passports and the benefit of the country. if you are happy you can be happy even in India or in CA and any other small European Union countries. However, I appreciate the struggles that made both of you reach there which is not common for all women. Lastly, I would like to cheer up those who are still trying to get Canada PR and Denmark PR, Don't give up you can make this happen. Inshah Allah Will see you in Canada for my future reel collaboration for FAQ :D

    Since i visited Europe i am so desperate to move AUSTRIA . love their culture. IN America there is no guarantee you or your family members will come home safely end of the day. specially school and collages. Parents are always worried their kids will come back live from school or not .every where CRIMES AND gun shooting. My American Born kids moved to Finland. just realized i spent 28 YEARS IN broken America.

    1. Danish public schools by default use danish language as medium. If you opt for English medium school, you pay 6,000 to 8000 EUR tuition fees per annum. Upper range could be 25k+.
    This is relevant for people who can switch country after 2-3 years for job change.
    (Some Canadian public schools are so bad that parents choose to pay for a better school).
    2. Danish people are over reserved, as compared with Canadians. Saying Hello or Good Morning is one thing & casual friendship is different.

    Quality and quantity matter a lot. Allowing lots of immigrants easily doesn't mean people have a great quality of life! Is that Super Visa for parents any worth it? Bringing elderly parents and sending them back to India for treatments!

  • @sapphieseyesdreams
    @sapphieseyesdreams ปีที่แล้ว +1

    One rule of the thumb that I have seen over all these years - agar koi country aapko open arms ke saath bulati hein, it means life in general is not easy there. That country is never an obvious first choice of anyone in this world. I am an Indian immigrant to Canada and now a Citizen as well and I have seen this. Canada ko leverage sirf refugees, students aur trucker community zyada deti hein because of dollar to inr converters. Otherwise, for people with excellent backgrounds in India get bored very very easily here. Then after citizenship they move to the US on TN visa because apparently US is much better in terms of economy, opportunities and weather.
    In short, I totally resonate with Cheshta's comment. Quality over quantity. This shows extreme responsibility on Denmark governments part that they consciously call only those ppl who are talented and work hard so that the tax money collected by the government does not go into supporting mindlessly done immigration. Extremely responsible. It goes to show ke Denmark ki economy is very stable and they can prioritize quality over quantity.
    Har baar apples to oranges comparison nahi hoti. Thoda economic stand point pe compare kare. For high earners in Canada, when you see 43 48 percent of your income cut in taxes to support homelessness, refugees and anti social elements, I feel very bad for all thw hard working, talented immigrants who left their countries and families to be a part of this sycophany.

    • @chitchatwithshilpa
      @chitchatwithshilpa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Atleast Canada gives opportunity to be citizens so that People if capable can move to US.. Comparison humesha sirf elite class k liye nahi hota and definitely jaha Europe points score karta hai, Waha karta hai..video ka motive Canada ko better dikhana nahi ha bus comparison hai point to point..Jaha taxes ki baat hai, Denmark’s minimum tax bracket is 37% and people like Cheshta pay over 50%..if Europe gives the opportunity to move there, why not..the point is it gives opportunity to only certain class and rarely..for me, whts d point of being better or the best when u r unreachable for the masses..

    • @sapphieseyesdreams
      @sapphieseyesdreams ปีที่แล้ว

      @ChitChat With Shilpa sorry, I am not arguing with you here.all I am saying is ke jo baatein hum Canada ke baare mein positive batate heun woh kahi na kahi unfair practices hein. Log faida uthate hein of government policies and which is why invitation to masses should be avoided to maintain fairness in the system. I totally get the video, I just added a different perspective to Canada's policies that's it. Aapke channel it bohot zyada reach hein to kahi na kahi ye perspective se agar aap agree karte hein to share it if you feel like.

    • @sabahtakked6626
      @sabahtakked6626 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chitchatwithshilpa if you are talking about stress leave for just 1 -3 days then that can easily be covered under wellness leave policy that different companies offer in Canada. My employer has no concept of sick leave we have wellness days.
      But when it comes to a duration higher than normal -You just need doctors notes at some cases. (Which I am sure doctors won’t give in any country without a reason) And of course if it’s someone taking undue advantage of it that will definitely get caught. Which is also the same case in Europe. Every country has their checks and balances set in place. Like in Europe (Denmark) if you are on a stress leave you need to attend a sick leave interview (with GP’s consultation ) and present Sick note (friattest) , fit for work certificate to your employer and also one cannot take up secondary jobs, Travel or even look for other opportunities. I just felt the video had to have a broader approach on comparisons. Felt it was too narrowed down to Ontario Vs Denmark(Copenhagen). Just an honest feedback from a regular viewer of your videos :)

    Hello from another Nordic country Finland which you unfortunately didn't mention once throughout the video 😮
    Some points:
    Pros;
    - ranked happiest country mostly because of work life balance and high public trust
    - free education, free health care
    - easy PR and citizenship compared to other Nordic countries ( student visa+ work visa= PR in 5 years / PR or 5 years of work permit + basic language test pass= citizenship)
    - wide network of public transportation
    - English widely spoken though Finnish is preferred
    - People are friendly if you speak their language
    Cons
    - Job market is limited and Finns are most preferred for high skilled jobs
    - Salary is low compared to other Nordic countries
    - language is very difficult to learn
    - tax is high
    - Finns are one of the most reserved people so befriending is difficult
    - Landscape and topography of Finland is extremely boring... nothing new to see throughout north-south.
    Anyways excellent video 👍

    there are many advantages to working and living here, including the strong legal protections for workers, which includes job security laws. In my opinion, Europe is definitely a great place to live and work, especially if you value these kinds of protections.

    Shilpaji did you miss comparing your profession (healthcare) in both countries (Canada and Denmark)? Maybe you did compare it and I missed it.
    EUROPE or CANADA? Well, there's no country like Canada. My personal experience says there's no work-life balance in all 10 countries of Europe I have visited several times, and also India (especially in the IT sector), Japan (all sectors), Qatar, Taiwan, and UAE. Ye sab countries behtareen hain to visit as a tourist. Permanently rehne ke liye nahin. 🙏
