Maintain 5 lakh rs average balance in your bank account... And then convert it into a privilege account... 1 of the privilege is access to airport lounge... They swipe your card at the lounge and the charge is 1 rs..
I got my first job in 2018 (I was 19). I do have SBI bank account where i used to deposit my saved pocket money. I mean you can imagine that I dont had any credit history. Jio opened my salary account in HDFC bank. Within 6 months of period, I got pre approved credit card by above bank. Limit was 25k and there was 1 lounge acess in a year. I never bothered about lounges even I never travel by plane. There was an on going project in Delhi. I was also part of that project. They always book round trip train ticket but I dont know why they provided us (we were 3 team members) return plane ticket. We reached airport before 4 hours of our flight. I mean two of us were first time travellers. It was early morning so we were starving. We moved to the food court area and on the way I noticed that there was lounge. One of our colleague moved towards lounge because he had acess to the lounge. I asked to the reception if I can try my card. I got acess and he told me swipe one more time if for the acess third person. I can never forget my first job, first flight and first time visiting any lounge.
Please don’t fall into the trap of lounge i had the worst experience at chennai didn’t get a seat also had to stand for an hour and thought of getting some good food got idli sambar at 1 in the night
