I GOT PULSAR 23,# 28 BLACK,AND RECEIVED IT ,THE WEEK BEFORE LAST. SHIPPED FROM RUSSIA,ON DEC 24,SAT IN CUSTOMS,FOR NEARLY A MONTH. LOVE THE PULSAR,AND THE PIPE,AND OF COURSE,THE LYRA 8,AND ETHER V2,AND THE QUANTUM OCEAN.PRESENTLY WAITING FOR MY DVINA,TO BE SHIPPED !! LOVE THE SOMA EXPERIENCE!!!
Can't wait for mine to arrive. Think I will lock myself up for a month to tame this beast. Got the Lyra and Pipe already and o boy, they are fun! Ever since I went to Superbooth in Berlin, I fell in love with Soma's instruments. So much perfection and love went into them. They stand out from all other instruments (and are therefore priceless!). They are not of this world. They are built like a tank. They will last forever is my guess.
Vlad , for me this seems like the ultimate Drum-machine! I already imagine how I press record , jam with it , making some always-changing sequences, put a atmospheric Pad on it and the track is done! I definitely will order one
Hey Vlad, my long awaited Pulsar 23 just arrived and I cannot take my hands off that beast! Just starting to dig into what this fantastic device can do. Thanks for making such a special and inspiring instrument. The rest of all the step trigger 808 clones and alike can be put into a big drawer and rest in peace😎🎧🎼🤩
Does Soma plan on doing any future revisions to their instruments? I am curious if these boards are revised months and up to years after release. In other words, would the design/circuits of Pulsar-23 likely change in the next few years, maybe in a future circuit revision? Or does Soma plan to release only the one design? Since this is expensive, I would like to be confident that if I save up and buy a Pulsar 23 it will not be replaced by a future model shortly after. Cheers from Canada
Bb dd it is a “gross practice” for a creator to iterate on their designs and come up with something new? Why care if there is a new version in the future? If this is awesome, use it and it is your own problem if you feel bad if a new version comes out. There are tons of variations of the Rhodes, and you know what? Some of the most coveted are the earliest ones.
I'm sorry, I should have been more clear in my original comment. I was speaking of future models (or even circuit revisions) replacing existing ones on the short term. Where I said "revised months and up to years after release" in my OC I should have written "revised months and up to a few years after release" to be more clear. My apologies guys
Bb dd “Would the designs/circuits of the Pulsar-23 likely change in the next few years.” Yes, I did read the comment. I stand by my own comment. It isn’t a good thing to put pressure on creators to stop working on their products once they get released.
We all need a little SHAOS in our lives!
Mr. Vlad you are an electronic music genius! Thank you for designing this (and the Lyra8) !!!

came back here for a refresher; this remains an absolute miracle of a percussive machine - it really is organismic

Excellent :)
I wish you showed a bit more detail on how you actually made/recorded the pattern. Was mostly knob and wire hooking. Came out dope though.
Crazy cool stuff 😄
So funking groovy.

These aren't the things I can do without!
Now, I feel like Penelope waiting for Ulysse.

Hi Vlad, your website link isn't working. I'd like to visit the site.
You've created an amazing inspiring instrument. If I order one off your site, how long is the waiting period to receive it?
We expect arround one year. The queue is big.
When can I get orange version, please.
my 3bit pin outputs the same amount of different values as the 2bit pin??
i really want the lyra... but this more so ughhh

@Bb dd thank you for the reply. I would be inclined to agree with you about Soma
