I mean, if you think someone is selling something for THAT cheap and its a 9k collection, you should be doubling down on your homework and all your scammy senses need to be tingling.

Typical law enforcement in Canada LOL. Remember they want us to leave our car keys at the front door for the scumbags to just take. Don't forget to leave warm milk and cookies for them too. The police in this country are to entitled and sheltered to do anything that actually involves their duty instead they make excuse after excuse. I really hope the person scammed gets their money back somehow and the scammer steps on Lego in the middle of the night going to the bathroom.

That's to bad. They are paid to restore justice and ensure restitution for provable harm committed. Any crime against someone is to be viewed with the same dilligence.
They simply dont want to do their jobs of ensuring restitution for provable harm committed, which makes them culpable for taking pay but refusing to provide the services rendered. Doesnt matter how much damages someone has lost due to criminal intent, its literally their job to seek out justice for them.
It's simple, and I'm also Canadian.

In order to be able to actually pursue and prosecute petty fraud and petty theft we need way more police officers, police stations, police cruisers, police civillians etc... Taxes has increased a lot in 10 years, added taxes has been created and increased significantly over the last 10 years, everything including food, gas & shelter (housing) has tripled over the last 10 years. Canada isn't in a position to spend more on these things, though they do somehow find a way to donate tens of billions to other countries every year.
Now look at the current expenditures, particularly in police departments, let alone entire corporation. I can pretty much garentee that 90%+ of it is waste spending. They simply dont want to do what they are paid to ensure. It's not the amount taken from the public that's the issue here.

9k isn't a nickel n dime transaction an with all the 100s of thousands of dollars being stolen or faked in the tcg hobbie, there no reason the det. On the case can't take 20 mins to stop at a card store n ask hey are these fake idk what they would charge wire fraud but something needs to happen to these individuals
