Ah what a nice way to lighten my day. Currently on antibiotics and I have to stay abstinent for another 2 weeks. At least the weather is crap. Very nice. Now I have to watch the 2 videos in succession to get the full picture
X97 are interesting, they slide goood on a asphalt, but not as good on smooth concrete. So they are not the best for skatepark, but still quite nice overall.
@@neilgarnham My favorite wheels would be radial full 57mm! The kader wheels I had were the best pairs it’s just 57mm is hard to find so I have settled for 56mm! Also the lockin fulls are available in 57mm tho! Either way conical fulls are great wheels too i learned feeble grinds on round rails on conical fulls! anything 58mm and up I tend to get wheelbite and get tired to flipping the board with big ol wheels. But bigger wheels go faster and rollover cracks easier
Thx Etang for this review of these 3 hybrid wheels, GJ! No doubt the SFF4 93A is Spitfire's best attempt to compete with Powell's dragon fomula and X97/99 but in reality they ride like a 95A/96A and as evident doesnt slide better than the X97 and generally cost about $4 more than the X97. You can't go wrong with either but costing $4 for not really a better product isn't good on Spitfire, they need to sale it at the same price or cheaper to beat Powell imho 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I agree with you either way you go both wheels Roll so smooth on crustier grounds and I think if you live somewhere with rough ground you could benefit from either wheels! Thanks for commenting as always!!! I’m sure I will make more wheel content in the future!!!! Take it easy jimmy!
X wheels are the best for sure in my opinion. The spitfire 93's are like dragons, too soft and bouncy. X wheels got that better slide and they are fast as hell.
Completely agree! The spitfire 93s were made just because the dragons were so popular and then these x97s were made because the dragons were too much like cruiser wheels I think the x formulas are the best all around wheel you can do the most with!
@@ETANGSKATES You're right! I think people are still sleeping on them tho, been trying to promote them to other skaters but so far I'm the only one riding them here. People just love Spitfire. Few homies have the spitfire "dragons", but still are not hyped about the Bones/Powell versions
@@nachosipsi and the sad thing is people mostly like the logo of spitfire! It also helps the wheels are great lol but It’s definitely the popular product especially from working at a skateshop we sold mostly spitfires. I think if bones came out with new logos and maybe nice bright colored wheels and black they could gain popularity again. Bones/powell makes great wheels and used to be the best back when the bones stf was around. I remember everyone used to skate bones wheels until formula four came out. These days it’s hard to go wrong everything skates well! Thanks for commenting bro!

Dude with this summer weather I haven’t been wanting to go skate in 110 degrees it’s rough but also gives me time to edit!!!
xD around here, in Germany, it's cold and rainy. It's supposed to be summer here too, but it'll come around soon.

Yes! I remember skating mine at the skatepark and not liking them but on rougher ground they skate so much better! Thanks for commenting!!!
Yo etang radial full or conical full? N what’s your ideal size skate wheel
