Quick guide for beginners: 1) This will not build much muscle. This will increase your muscle endurance and the efficiency of you cardiovascular system (basically you heart/your stamina) 2) If you want to build muscle, you need to lift heavy weights. Pick a weight that you can lift between 8 and 12 times for 3 sets (1 to 2 minutes rest) and aim for a total of 10 to 20 sets per muscle per week. 3) This will not build strength. If you want to build strength, you need to train with a weight that you can't lift more than 6 times for 4+ sets (2+ minutes rest) and also aim for 10 to 20 sets per muscle per week Obviously this is a very short "summary" but I hope it helps. Also many people are saying functional workout is better, or bodybuilding is better, but in reality to optimise your overall fitness you should consider doing functional, muscle building and strength training together. (and sorry if there are grammar mistakes, english isn't my motherlanguage :D)

This is what i like to see, they are constantly in motion getting 100 percent of their workout, not like these idiots who i see at the gym who do a set spend 10 minutes on their phone and go back to their lift.
What is functional and what improve? Functional is to make you daily tasks better. Wich drill or exercises is sport specific? If you are an athlete functional is sport specific skills so what you are doing here is transfer to any kind of sport? Is nice but is not FUNCTIONAL
