I'm from azad kashmir. My great grandma told me we come from jammu. We don't really speck kashmiri here. People mostly speck pahari here which is the same to dogri. But that's not why I'm writing this. I'm writing this because there is no real azadi for all of kashmir. Your pain is ours and in our hearts and prayers you will remain. I don't care if your a Muslim, a Hindu, a Hindu pandit, a Buddhist or a Sikh. This is our homeland. When one of us bleeds we all bleed. Your music is beautiful. I really want to learn kashmiri. The only people in my family who speck it are my great grandparents but they have passed. We must uphold our cultures and people. Even if we are pahari, dogri, kashmiri, balti or from ladkah this is our home and peace is always possible. But the question is, is it possible to take the first step?
