      @samuraijack1371 Far from an expert but my understanding is it's a hand that blocks the players from having things like a straight draw or something. I just started learning about it but haven't really found it useful to me at my stakes tbh.

    IMHO the worst study habit is not in the video: ignoring preflop. 😅

    Useful, videos on big picture of smth are much appreciated.
    As a critisim, it shines a negative light on the Blockers feature. Because Tombos is saying that 65 suit is not important while KQ's is, but their blocker scores are the same. So how am I supposed to know when blocker effect is important without Tombos telling me?

    Hi man, great videos but I have a questions tho’ 6:52 - “7 and a 9 we can start over bet” but why? Don’t we get called only by better hand when that happens? Is a semi bluff? Are QQ or KK ever folding here when the board pairs? Thanks for the time taking to answer! Every time I try to study with the solver I get all these kind of questions for different spots. Where can I address them? Does the AI features on elite subscription can get me answers? And if not, where can I find them other then bombarding people on the internet with these huge comments😅😂

    • @GTOWizard
      @GTOWizard  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interpreting solver outputs is an artform. I recommend joining our discord server to find answers to these questions!
      Board pairing cards like a 5, 7 or 9 reduce the number of trips in HJ's range, while retaining CO's overpair advantage. Facing an overbet, HJ still needs to defend lots of pair+draw hands like 66, 88, 98, 76, 65, etc. You aren't just getting called by worse. At this SPR, HJ needs to stack off with several single pair hands. The overbet extracts max value from that part of their range.

    I always get the impression this channel tried to make poker sound really hard to justify buying GTO wizard. Most of poker is relatively intuitive and bet sizing etc barely loses ev. Furthermore it assumes peoples preflop raises are gto which they are nowhere near so the rest of the solve is inaccurate

    • @genesises
      @genesises 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i never got this impression - especially since you are watching the channel GTOWizard... representing the solver GTOWizard, with videos about how you can make use of GTOWizard. That being said I apply very little of what I learn here because I'm playing microstakes - but having the theoretical knowledge is still nice. I've heard suggestions that alot of theory still don't apply up to 100nl+ because the players are just too bad, learning to exploit your field is usually more efficient in those cases.

    • @thepokerparadox
      @thepokerparadox 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Without a baseline of GTO, saying that your opponent is "too loose" or "too tight" in any given spot is purely opinion. If you know GTO opening range from the BTN is like ~43% of hands and someone is only opening 33% of hands from the BTN. You have a lot of options to exploit. Also, in GTO wizard you can input your opponent's range if you actually know what they are playing, thus getting an accurate exploitative solve.
      Poker really is hard btw lol 😂
