Everyone gets cocky when playing, if hes averege or pro. whenever people get kills, they say their good. but he on the other hand needs content and it wouldnt be content if he got kills and began saying that he is an averege player, like wtf. true there are some people who play better than him, and are underated, but i have talked with esoteric and he told me that he spends 6-8 hours editing a video. he has been making pixel gun 3d videos for 5 years almost 6, and just because there is someone that is better than eso does NOT mean that they desereve his subs or viewers. I am not hating ont he pro community what so ever, and i actually think that it is really cool how they can get alot of kills, and i am no where near a 3 cat spammer. every youtuber is making videos about esoteric, let him live. come on saige :(

I stopped watching Eso long ago but i have to admit, i don't get why he's getting so much hate all of the sudden, all the "bad" things i hear about him are...not even that big of a deal lol number 1.- "*he's overrated*" uh no. TBH I just do not care if eso's vid is not well made, I watch it for entertainment and besides it is the CC's job to make videos as a career.
Only this game have this issue bcz they based youtubers on their skills, if their skills are trash-tier or they only main public lobbies, then others or maybe pro player audience would react in a harsh way that instead of entertainment purposes, its not anymore its becoming a drama. Yes youtubers need dramatic behaviour sometimes like ex: having kill streak, rampage, fury, or maybe getting violence. I stopped watching him, but I watch him sometimes cuz I am busy at school.
In my perspective, since the disapperance of Eso, some CC (especially toxic pro players) got boosted by devs, and yeah when they stumbled about eso, they promoted hate to eso by brainwashing them and introduce them to the cruel world of pro community (not gonna name that ytber) You can just watch them both, if you dont prefer eso or other ytbers, then you can ignore it, only some ppl in the pro community wanted eso drama to happen cuz of his words (even you can just follow/believed on his words or not, viewers desicion)
Remember eso cannot control his fans, its their choice to do it or not

The reason I think Esoteric has been doing so well is because first off, he’s been playing and making content of the game for over 5 years. This has given him so much time to build a fan base and also attract so many people to the game.
Another reason is because he is actually fun to watch and doesn’t make lazy content like just uploading a clip of a high kill game with music. You don’t necessarily have to be the best player to make entertainmening content.
The big reason lots of pros in this community get overlooked is because there content is just to similar to each other. The amount of content creators in this community who just use text to speech or plain text over the screen is sad. I also see a lot of people just try to copy other people’s editing styles and video formats which makes there channel less entertaining and dull.
I don’t have a problem with people not using their voice btw. Hell, even I don’t use my voice. I can understand that lots of people can’t afford good microphones or just want to keep their privacy.

If you think that high kill games are lazy, you need to think how much hours they pour into playing, ex. Kill assist i saw him GRIND FOR 5 hours to get 70 kills
And another reason that the pro community isnt known, is because theyre being overshadowed by eso and bridger5 and they play competitive and dont take youtube seriously

The problem I have with Eso is that he was once good (2014-2015) but over time he slowly became a casual He even admitted it in his “Best Android player versus Best Ios player” but he is not in top 100 at all Now keep in mind that he is the reason I learned 3 category spam

skill in the game doesnt always mean most subs. as example. there are better players than pewdiepie in every game and he still has more subs than them.
eso has more recognition because he has been there for much more time, was a really good player years ago and his vids are what his fans like. not poorly edited, with voice commentary, decent memes and a fair amount of kills.
realize that his fans are probably worse than him at the game and what you consider an average kill amount for a match is the average of top players (which you think you are part of). and you'd get bored watching the top gameplay and just gameplay.

People praising eso as a god is a misconception in the pro community. Most of eso’s fans don’t like him because he’s good, I mean we know that he’s just a causal and so do his fans. We like him because of his content, even though he over uses memes, and because we grew up watching him. I understand that a lot of pro players deserve recognition for all their hard work in perfecting their skill, but man if you hate eso just because he’s a causal who gets more attention than you is really pathetic and says a lot about you as a person. Which is probably why pro players don’t get respected in the first place.

Theres a difference between making videos to just show how good you are and just trying to get people to admire you because you are good at the game, but there's the people that do funny montages and edits to entertain people, and honestly I like it when they do that because it is actually put effort into when the edits are very good and entertaining. I completely agree on the fact that people who work hard deserve more but the only reason some people are getting more popular is probably mostly in luck. People probably only watch little pg3d content and that probably will be based around who they find first. When a youtuber starts getting ahead, maybe even a little bit, it will be showing up more then others. This will be the reason I think that some youtubers are getting popular (this is all my opinion, I would like to see yours).

LUCK?! I'm sorry bro, but Eso has been grinding his ass off for the last 5 or 6 years making his videos, if he didn't get to 600k in that time it would be a bit worrying... Especially since a few years ago he used the "mainstream" approach on his videos, making them blow up, basically catchy video names that show up with a lot of different topics (if you know you know, if you don't, oh well) He was by far NOT the only one at the time making vids, and by far not the first. MANY PG3D YTers were ahead of his too at the time (by only a few hunnid, but back then even 1k was a lot) He skyrocketed past them bro, people CHOSE to watch his content because it was and is enjoyable, and that's how he grew to be who he is now. Now ofc, he may not be the most skilled player of all time, but some ppl are naturally gifted at this game and also spend a lot more time on this game than Eso. Eso is pretty much a casual lmao, he doesn't spend that much time PG3D, and whereas others try to perfect their skills in game, Eso is out there hustling to make good content for his viewers, and has a great relationship with them. Also, he is still one of the best players in this game, and wld probably DESTROY all of his trashtalking haters, INCLUDING SAIGE who plays on PC now!
All I'm saying is people should take him for who he is, not for his skill level...
This eso drama isn't worth it, we need a new community event to forget about all this drama. Small youtubers are working hard on montages and videos and not advancing at all. This is probably since the community is in a state of toxicity and needs to change. Eso is pretty decent and there's nothing wrong with that but he's a little bit overrated. There are channels that spend a lot of time just making one video while other add little editing and just pure pg3d gameplay and get tons of views. (This is basically a summary. I can see everyone else's opinions and I respect them. I'm kinda in between. Basically just forget all the drama and move onto something better. The year is already harsh enough).

There’s lots of reasons why pro players get overshadowed. Lots of their content is to similar to each other or it’s just too bland. Lots of creators in this community also don’t use there voice which gives their channel less personality. I mean you don’t need to talk to create good content, but it certainly helps.

There isn’t really a problem with eso, he just has slowly switched up his video entertainment and production style over time. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just a noticeable thing. If he wants to make his own changes then he’s doing something else to make his audience entertained. His videos don’t have to be him being the best player since it just has to entertain his audience.
