I think the body confidence was such an important note! You’re only 20 years old but you are so real and down to earth and so true to yourself, and that is something hard to achieve at such a young age. Our parents always envision a different future for us and they might not always agree with our plans for our own futures, but somewhere along the line I hope they see that your TH-cam channel is someone’s light at the end of the tunnel because I’m sure you are making a difference in someone’s light at his moment. definitely don't move to nyc just for the dream of it. i decided to come here for college because i had that same dream. i've been here for 2 years now and its WAY harder than you might think. its really a eat or be eaten city, its really hard to find good friends and rent is ridiculously expensive. i wouldn't suggest moving here unless you have a job lined up.

You are so fantastic at filming and editing videos. If you feel bad about not doing more to help the world, then use those skills. Make a project for awesome video, or offer your services to a nonprofit for their social media. And when you're successful, you can ALWAYS donate to charity, do charity work, and casually help the people in your life, and if there's something you feel super strongly about, you can talk about it on camera. You can show why something is important. You can encourage people with different skills to help make the world better.

Ashley used to feel so bad about "just being a youtuber" thinking that she was doing nothig but literally shes low key helping me with my life choices, helping me to feel better about myself and less anxious about adulthood, like a mentor almost, and shes one year younger than me like wtf girl!! you are doing a very important job helping people, even if its just distract people form their shity life, that can make a big difference for someone with mental issues. real talk (just to add to the stream of me commenting on all your old videos as i watch them about how cool you are and how i'd love to be your friend) you may not be ending world hunger or finding the answer to world peace or curing cancer but you are still doing something really important. you are setting an example for so many people of just how empowering and important it is to be authentic and honest to your true self and your passions. not enough people pursue things that they love and it's great that you are and that you're showing others that they can too. you're socially aware, which besides setting another great example, is so crucial when you're in a position with even a semblance of influence over others, and besides taking a stand against the stereotypes and conditions set in place for females and female creators, i really do think you are inspiring many people, especially young girls, to stop being afraid of discussing the nitty-gritty, meaningful and slightly taboo topics that we're all told we should skirt around. as a 19 year old girl in college, i still find all of this applicable and inspiring so to think about those even younger than myself who are seeing these videos as an example during one of the most awkward and transformative times of their lives is so rad. just keep doing you and don't feel like this is insignificant because this kind of shit could change the world someday.
