@@Steejo Good one! Though seriously I did like this 1st movie. Even though Kilo Ren used the Force to read my mind and steal my idea. I know people probably won't believe me but I honestly had the idea for that tripple light saber design long before I saw it in a movie trailer!
The Stormtrooper that frees Rey was played by Daniel Craig who from I can remember was filming a James Bond film at the time in another part of the studio.
Trivia: The reason Kylo Ren's lightsaber looks weird is because of the crystal it uses, specifically it is fractured and thus results in an unstable blade. The crossguard vents are likely necessary to prevent the saber from exploding from the excess energy.
here's the thing everyone whoever hates these next 3 movies you can complain all you want but what's done is done you might as well appreciate what was given because its not like they would take down the movies they are always gonna be there if you don't like them don't watch or participate and if your willing to give it a chance just find the things you do enjoy from them and stick to it.
Yay, more Star Wars reactions! Love you guys! 😍😍😍 I'm a huge SW fan and I like and love most of the movies and shows. Some are better than others but I don't hate any of them. I could never. 😌 Used to watched all the Star Wars movies and most of the shows together with my dad, and he loved them so much!! He sadly passed away last summer from cancer and I still get super emotional when I watch Star Wars content now because that was "our thing". I hope you'll watch the Mandalorian, Andor and the Skeleton Crew! Great and fun SW shows! ❤
The movie that launched the great Adam driver’s career, just saw him off broadway last week. His character and how he portrays it is why the sequel trilogy is good (and the original cast)…
Personally I love these movies, and it's fine if you don't naturally, but some of the people who hate these movies are filled with so much vitriol that they act like NO ONE is allowed to like these movies, it's strange.
Here's some fun trivia for you guys. The Stormtrooper at 13:13 in the bronze/golden armor is well trained as a soldier. She was even king's guard for Renly Baratheon as Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).
I love the uprgraded look to the new T-70 X-Wings that the resistence use but still keeping similar design elements to the T-65 X-Wings that the Rebel Alliance used in the original trilogy.
The Island that Luke has chosen for his self imposed exile is called Ahch-To and is filmed on Skellig Michael, and island located off the Irish coast about 10 miles southwest.
Hey Suzy, if you didn't know, the actor who was playing the general that gave the speech is also the actor of Bill Weasley from the Harry Potter franchise
Shoulder pauldron is higher rank I think: red- officer: black-sergeant; white-squad leader. Actors (original saga) are the actual age they would be in the timeline.
That was an awesome reaction! Thank you! I simply LOVED to see the reactions to all the surprises in this one. From the last trilogy, this one is my favorite. Salutations from Romania …
True Story: During the filming of "The Force Awakens", during one special day...different actors, staff members, film crew, everyone... started showing up on-set at a time they were not required. The various scenes they were on had already been filmed a few days prior, or wasn't scheduled to be filmed for another week or so... but all of them were on set this particular day. They all wanted to witness a very special moment. ALL of them had grown up as kids watching Star Wars. More than 30 years had past since the filming of Episode 6, The Return of the Jedi. EVERYONE was there to Witness Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo... walking onto the bridge of the Millennium Falcon for the first time since 1983. After his first scene was over, the entire sound stage erupted in cheers!
Think of Star Wars as your favorite band maybe after a few albums you don't like the direction or style the band is experimenting with but you'll always love them because they are your favorite band.. I will always love Star Wars❤❤❤
Oh i just realizes this. But the old guy who is talking to Poe in the first scene, pretty sure he was the original Three Eyed Raven Bran learned from in Game of Thrones
I was so sure that Suzy would instantly fall in love with BB-8! After all, the possibility of her not liking him was approximately 3720000 to 1. "Would you blame Luke?... I would. I'm that kind of person" ... "He's [Han] the father I never had". Oh, Suzy your instinct!!! 🫡 5 minutes later: "Finn will be fine". OK, I take that back. 😂 "That lightsaber, it belongs to me. … I don't think so!" Well, it kind of does. It's the last saber grandpa Ani ever built and the first grandfather Vader used. And it was Vader the one who removed it from Luke, along with his hand... My boy's claim is definitely legitimate. Suzy: I can't believe they did that to him.😭 Harrison Ford: I've been trying to kill him for more than 30 years. Why is Kylo so obsessed with Vader? I'm sure you've heard how crucial it is for parents to talk to their children about the important (and awkward) issues, such as sex, drugs, alcohol etc. If they don't teach them, the kids are going to hear about them from someone else, and they will not get the viewpoint that the parents want them to have. The same principle applies to the tropic of former Sith relatives. BTW there are more big actors than you can see. 007 himself did a cameo: the stormtrooper Rey mind-tricked. Of course we don't know all of them; Mark Hamil's cameo still remains a mystery. Maybe one day... Thank you for another amazing and hilarious reaction. That was a great way to spend my evening.👏🏻👏🏻
This was a lot of fun you two, been loving your SW reactions so far, this might have been the best one yet - your enthusiasm is infectious and makes for a good, enjoyable watch. The moaners can do one, I mean why click on a video you know you're not going to like just to moan. It's very unhealthy. Still, you seem to be on top of it so that's good.
I was a huge Star Wars fan growing up and this movie rekindled that love. I’ll never understand why some bitter weirdos in the fandom choose to hate on it (and all the sequels) so much. An absolute pleasure seeing y’all react to it, and I’m looking forward to the rest!! 💕
I’m loving these reactions from you. I actually really did enjoy this movie when it came out. I still think it’s good even if it is like a love letter to A New Hope. I will say that I think that the director switch ups in this series and competing visions for the direction of the story did a disservice. I don’t have as much good to say about the next two, but still look forward to watching along with you both.
When I saw this in theater, and Han died, I didn't realize that I stood up and screamed so loud that they heard me at the concession stand. My kids pulled on my arms, telling me to sit down, and the guy sitting behind me patted my shoulder, saying it was ok, buddy. I have hated Kylo Ren ever since.
I liked this movie. I just wish Rey would have had to go through training before using her force abilities. I’m ok with the last fight between her and Kylo Ren. People forget Chewie shot him in the abdomen so he was significantly injured while fighting her otherwise he should have easily killed her
I’m so glad you guys are giving these movies a chance. I have always been an avid defender of the Sequel Trilogy. Force Awakens in particular is my favorite Star Wars movie. I always love to rewatch this one the most.
One thing I have to point out and people miss this, Rey already knew how to fight. The Force awakening in her only made her better. Kylo is lucky she didn’t kill him. Great reaction! 👍🏾
It’s so nice that you guys already have the relationship you do with the comments and skippers. Sequel haters do their absolute best to convince everyone that they are right and people who enjoy them are wrong. Either like the movie or don’t, don’t spread your poison
I had an uber ride this morning and the driver and I were talking about family and the driver said ‘ya know good parents love their kids no matter what they do’. Even after his own son betrayed him in the ultimate way, ole Han touched his face with love as life left his body 😢
I wonder if one day these movies will be loved the way the prequels are. I really on have a problem with episode 8 other than that I love getting to see Han, Luke and Leia come back.
The reaction of current fans to the sequels reminds me of the reaction of the prequel fans back in the day, in the end those fans ended up loving the prequels
I honestly don't get why the sequel trilogy gets so much hate. They're really not that bad. Maybe people couldn't handle their expectations being too high to realistically meet or maybe they wasted 30+ years waiting to see something they didn't need to see. I guess we'll never really know.
I love your reactions. I like 7, 8, and 9. Don't love them but I enjoy watching them because they continue the saga. To me, there is no such thing as a "bad" Star Wars movie. Some are just not as good as the others and let's not mention the Christmas Special ever again! I was there in the theater in 1977 in my 8yr old self and I witnessed the magic...three times (my parents wouldn't let me go to any more). I want to see many more. I understand old timers like me being protective of the saga and that magic, but the absolute hatred some throw about because of the direction the saga has gone doesn't fit their paradigm is foreign to me. If movies were made to please everyone, there would be a million different versions. Suzy is wrong thinking Jar Jar was a great character. That's just my opinion. However, he was a necessary character who directly affected the course of the saga. Rey is a great character, but a lot of shade is directed at her because she is just a "girl." Star Wars, before it became A New Hope, wasn't supposed to be this grand thing. It was supposed to be just another how hum sci-fi movie directly aimed at 7 - 13 yr old boys. And boy did it produce! Magic! Not only did it mesmerize it's target audience, but it drew in adults and girls as well. But it was us young boys who took it to heart the most. It's hard to let go of the past but change is necessary for the saga to continue. Whenever the subject comes up in conversation, I just suggest for those who don't like the way the saga has gone to ignore it and look back and enjoy what it was. No need to poo poo on the new ones and ruin the magic for a new generation who look at things differently than we did 40 some years ago. May the Force be With Us All and just chill and be happy 🙂
I honestly loved this one too. The movie I'm not a fan of for sure is the 2nd one in this trilogy. I didn't hate all of it, honestly, but like there were quite a few things that just were a bit "off". Rise of Skywalker is okay I guess, but once again some of the plot is a bit contrived and pretty... just out of no where for some big things. But as far as Episode 7 goes? Pretty great film
As an OG fan who was a kid when the original trilogy came out we were soooo excited for The Force Awakens. I really loved it. Sure it copies a lot of A New Hope, but it was fun and felt like Star Wars again.
In my opinion this is a good movie with my only real complaint being the parrelels to episode 4. Episode 8 is one of my favorite movies and I dislike most things about episode 9. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing what you think about them.
You and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to 7 and 8. I enjoy 7, it is my favorite of the sequel trilogy despite their efforts to stir up nostalgia with its parallels to episode 4. Episode 8 on the other hand I don't like at all....and is my least favorite of the trilogy. Episode 9 falls somewhere in between 7 and 8 for me....nowhere near as good as 7, but leaps and bounds better than 8.
Yeah there were definitely some retread moments but the chemistry, humor and acting were back. People will call Rey mary sue but forget Luke was taking basically taking down a small army with his lightsaber, despite having 0 training. And anakin won the whole pod race even though he'd recked every other time before. I cant be so forgiving about 8, though. Its pretty bad
Fun little story that connects me to this movie: I was on summer vacation in Scotland and Ireland in 2014 and we arrived in a small Irish town near the Skelligs one day after they finished filming there. I wasn't aware of any of it but our B&B host told us that we're lucky because now we can visit the Skelligs (small islands/rocks near the West coast). The island at the end of the movie, where Luke lives, is Skellig Michael. :) Fast forward until the movie was released, I was in the cinema, impatiently waiting to see the island and it was only in the last few minutes :)))) still a great memory & definitely worth a visit. But now it's booked out long in advance.
thank you for reacting to Star Wars 7 , Star Wars 8 and Star Wars 9 . i can not wait to see your reactions to Star Wars 8 and Star Wars 9 . i loved to see your reactions to Star Wars 7
We met Han as a cynical mercenary only looking out for himself and Chewie, and we said goodbye to him betting it all for the soul of his son. He may have lost that wager, but he cashed it in as a much better man.
I'm very happy that you found joy from watching this movie. I especially loved watching you at the end of the movie knowing what happens at the start of The Last Jedi. I like it better than 1, so I don't hate it. I love Rey and Finn, but I think they copied episode 4 too much for me to rate this as a top tier Star Wars movie.
1:10:40 This is Daniel Craig btw!! The stormtrooper in this scene! It's the guy who played James Bond in the latest movies! 🙂 1:12:16 he was in Heroes, the NBC series....he was the guy with psychic power. 🙂
Saw you have a channel yourself Suzy. Not really interested in the shows... But, if you guys are interested in an anime classic movie... "Ninja Scroll". *Warning* there are some very adult scenes... But, most of it isn't. Probably just 2 short scenes and a quick clip later you can bypass. It's my #1 anime movie ever.
Wondering if you have The Hunger Games yet? I would love to see you react to that after Star Wars if you haven't seen them yet😊 I absolutely love watching yo two react. You are such an adorable couple. Can't wait for the remaining Star Wars movies💕😊
Fun fact: Harrison Ford HATE Han Solo, he wanted to leave the saga since Episode V, he believed that his character no longer had much to do but Lucas convinced him to complete the original trilogy, in order to convince him to return in Episode VII they told him that they would kill his character, well that and a large sum of money. What he really hate is that people only know him as Han Solo, that hate was transferred to Han Solo himself
He never "hated" the character Han Solo. He just only wanted to do the one movie Star Wars. Originally there wasn't supposed to be more than one movie, and Harrison didn't want to be type cast for these movies.
They always call the ship garbage, even young Han used to get fed up with it malfunctioning at the worst times, that's the whole point, its supossed to be a bad ship but it takes the gang from hell and back every time.
Was going to suggest incase you watch the Solo movie, it makes more sense if you the Clone wars show, I cant spoil why and there is a odd way to watch the show
i rly think 7 is the strongest of the 3 new movies. i rly liked it but i was sad so many people complained that they changed directors and direction ...
Please don't come on to this reaction to just complain about 7, 8 or 9. You will just be removed. ☺ These are great reactions so please enjoy! - Suzy
Can I complain that Leia hugged Rey, instead of Chewy?
Of the 3 of them 7 is by far the best. I guess 7 ate 9.
It is very similar to a new hope
I felt a great disturbance in The Force as if a thousand angry boys suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
@@Steejo Good one! Though seriously I did like this 1st movie. Even though Kilo Ren used the Force to read my mind and steal my idea. I know people probably won't believe me but I honestly had the idea for that tripple light saber design long before I saw it in a movie trailer!

Rey’s vision showed both past and future.
So refreshing to see people watching a movie without preconceptions. They are meant to be entertainment.
Trivia: The reason Kylo Ren's lightsaber looks weird is because of the crystal it uses, specifically it is fractured and thus results in an unstable blade. The crossguard vents are likely necessary to prevent the saber from exploding from the excess energy.
I believe it was Anakin's old saber? Damaged. Thought I heard that somewhere. And would make sense that the crystal had been eqnaged over time
I absolutely love when people come into a film to enjoy film

She had street skills. Luke didn't have any training before being able to grab the saber out of the snow on Hoth 🤷♀
Yeah, but Luke also learned skills from basically nowhere.

I liked episode 7 well enough myself I have a few points of criticism but for the most part it was fine.
Please watch the obi wan kenobi series
We met Han as a cynical mercenary only looking out for himself and Chewie, and we said goodbye to him betting it all for the soul of his son.
He may have lost that wager, but he cashed it in as a much better man.
Did he really loose it, though? I belive it paid off in the end...
Part of the deal that Harrison Ford coming back to do this movie is thst they kill him off.
great reaction 😍
37:16 . o O (¡SASSY BEAR FOREVER!)
I'm very happy that you found joy from watching this movie. I especially loved watching you at the end of the movie knowing what happens at the start of The Last Jedi. I like it better than 1, so I don't hate it. I love Rey and Finn, but I think they copied episode 4 too much for me to rate this as a top tier Star Wars movie.
about the sequels I will watch the reactions even if I didn’t particularly like 8 or 9
1:07:43 you guys should still have kids though! You seem like a great couple, if anyone should have kids it's you guys 🙂
1:10:40 This is Daniel Craig btw!! The stormtrooper in this scene! It's the guy who played James Bond in the latest movies! 🙂
1:12:16 he was in Heroes, the NBC series....he was the guy with psychic power.
At least Kylo said thank you.
Wondering if you have The Hunger Games yet? I would love to see you react to that after Star Wars if you haven't seen them yet😊 I absolutely love watching yo two react. You are such an adorable couple. Can't wait for the remaining Star Wars movies💕😊
I hope you watch the Kenobi series, at some point. The Mandalorian was good too.
Do you recognize the voice of the stormtrooper captain? Its Brienne from Game of thrones.
Steejo mentions it in one of the movies, I think 9 maybe? - Suzy
@SuzySteejo question are you guy going to watch clone wars tv series?
Not sure. There's a few other shows we want to watch soon like Squid Game 2.
She is not the only GoT alum, the great Max Von Sydow, who played the 3 Eyed Raven, appears at the beginning.
Are you guy gonna react to Kenobi show also? 😊
Yeah this is the only one of the sequel trilogy that I liked
Seeing the Millennium Falcon return in this movie was a great surprise but when Rey called it "Garbage" I literally hated her for saying that!
Hey, she had no idea it was the Falcon until she and Finn met Han and Chewie.
I mean it was very old and worn out by that point. You can understand why someone with no attachment to it would think It looks rubbish. - Suz
@@SuzySteejo good point but the ship has accomplished a lot of battles and tons of smuggling operations as far as Han Solo said
@@ChristianSander1969 Yes but he called it "A piece of Junk" Rey called it Garbage
They always call the ship garbage, even young Han used to get fed up with it malfunctioning at the worst times, that's the whole point, its supossed to be a bad ship but it takes the gang from hell and back every time.
Did Han Solo sacrifice himself to save his son from the dark side.
I love this movie and the others. Take that haters.😂
The island Luke is on is near Ireland. Its called Great Skellig.
🐧 🐧 🐧 🐧 🐧 🐧 🐧 🐧 ???
A TRUE Star Wars fan enjoys ALL the movies, i did
After you watch the sequel trilogy, watch the spin-off

Clone wars
Rebels
Obi wan kenobi
Andor
Mandalorian
Book of boba fett
Didn’t you hear Obi Wan, “Rey, these are your first steps “.
Suzy is so funny and cute, your a lucky man dude.
The Star Wars Holiday special
Many great cameos in this movie. Daniel Craig is under the mask of the stormtrooper who gets mind tricked by Rey.
Was going to suggest incase you watch the Solo movie, it makes more sense if you the Clone wars show, I cant spoil why and there is a odd way to watch the show
We watched Solo after 9. Was a lot of fun. - Suz
I love the Solo movie @@SuzySteejo
@@SuzySteejo Can't wait to see your reaction to Maul still being alive!
i rly think 7 is the strongest of the 3 new movies.
i rly liked it but i was sad so many people complained that they changed directors and direction ...
The plan was always to have three different directors
First fight with lightsaber Finn against stormtrooper aktor who plays stormtrooper was Daniel Craig
The Storm trooper that releases Rey was Daniel Craig
