Dear god I love Monty, I love this entire CAST man- everyone’s immaculate-
I have no clue what’ll happen to Moon at this point, which worries me IMMENSELY for him- but at least, for right now- Lunar’s okay.
Something I feel a need to point out is the distinction between Moon’s corrupted thoughts and Killcode. That “Everything must go” in echoing in MOON’S voice throughout his mindscape was just CHILLING. To me it speaks to how HE is internalizing Killcode’s influence, integrating it into his own thoughts rather than Killcode just hijacking them and his body- as it were.
That’s horrifying. IMMACULATE job to everyone, well done Monty- and I can’t wait for the next episode!!!
I appreciate you mentioning that! Like Moon has his own issues no doubt, but both the audience AND his friends know that the KillCode isnt the real him. So why is Moon so convinced that it is?
BECAUSE HE HAS INTERNALIZED IT.
They say you hear something long enough to start to believe it. Well Moons been hearing that for his WHOLE DAMN LIFE. It's why he feels so hopeless. It's why he hates himself. It's why he cant see the good he does. Everyone has a darkside or evil thoughts. But Moons mind isnt supposed to be like that. Something else did that.....

Dont get me wrong, Moons pretty evil in a lot of ways. But theres a HUGE difference between Moons actual flaws and what the KillCode made him. You could see it in the Fight episodes, you could see it in Eclipse and BloodMoons manifestation, you could see it in the Sun-Less dimension. None of those are the evil bastard we know and love. And that's what those who actually know who the real Moon is want to get rid of.

@@lailanityler2380 that's a very good point, and it may have been that strong initially. Personally I like to think that the reason KillCode got so powerful and virus-like is because of Vanny and her Afton-Glitch Knife. But the show hasnt specified so that's just me.
But that's why I want SO BADLY for them to get rid of KillCode without anything happening to Moon. This whole arc has been Moon dealing with his self loathing, inner demons (literally), and his lifelong attempt to be more than that code, all coming to a head. I dont want them to win at the cost of some sacrifice. I want this arc to be something that shows it IS possible to change, to become better. That Moon is NOT his darkest parts, or original purpose. It's time for Moon to be free

After all of this is over, Lunar should work on his self esteem. He is not meant to die, he never was and never will be. Eclipse made him under value himself a lot.. And I adore his and Montys relationship, it's so wholesome and adorable! I hope that Moon is going to be okay

3:31 I think this is one of Lunar best monent, not only he is calm enough to speak his mind, but also, he shows to be mature, he may sound silly and act like a child, maybe Eclipse made him this way, but he is way smarter and way more colected than anyone else.. even Monty at times..
Lunar here shows that, no matter what, hes loyal to Moon, and wish to be there for him.. since Moon was the one to help him on on his hard dark times..
and maybe because he is part of him, he feel like he needs to stay, even if hes afraid, and may really want to go away to be safe, the pure love and care he has for Moon its impresive, and the fact he doesnt fear death its so telling of him as a character..
he is adorable , he is brave and he is smart and for sure, will be a key to help Moon out somehow!

Lunar breaks my heart, I swear. “Why do I have to leave?..” was the most heartbreaking tone he’s ever had even while he was with Eclipse.

At least Lunar gotten out safely. Everyone understands he wanted to stay to help his brother, but he is not meant to die. His abuser convinced him that death is his fate, and they need to work on convincing him that's NOT his real fate. Lunar being scared for Moon was so precious. Yet he understood that he was in danger and his brothers wouldn't liked that either. Hopefully he'll be okay to get that little nano body the gator mentioned.

And Sun & Lunar going with Monty into Moon's head for Moon, perhaps his brothers' presences and words would be able to convince Moon he's not worthless and he should help fight back. They might get through to Moon more than Monty can. I'm not ready to see helpless and depressed Moon again soon. Hehe, I bet Sun would freak out in cuteness at Lunar's adorable makeover once he's in a nano body and make it that cutie look again.

It's awesome that Monty is still helping the boys no matter what. He saved the youngest so far. He warned Sun to give Kill Code Moon distance before he woke up. And now he plans to go retrieve Moon soon enough! The gator is so funny in the face of danger. I love how he doesn't give a shit about Kill Code Moon being pissed off at any time or being dramatic. It doesn't matter whatever the gator does, it'll anger Kill Code Moon. Hopefully he's next trip to get Moon, he can talk some sense into him! Remind him that he's not only a kill code host, he's someone unique and beloved by so many. That he isn't the monster that Kill Code projects him to be. He worked so hard to escape that image. He is worthy of a proper life and needs to gain faith back.

Monty at the beginning was a brat to moon and sun and hasn’t help them much but he learns to care by lunar which change Monty to be a better person and help his friends or the only family he is just only around with ❤🌿

Luanr doesnt fear death and I think that was on Eclipse, the only good thing he maybe teach him, Lunar seem to knwo what death means, the end of a life, yet he seems super neutral, he doest get happy but neither does he fear it.. he just know its gonna happend.. and the fact he really didnt want to leave Moon alone, knowin he was for a long time , the barried to keep the Kill Code at line.. makes it all more sad..

The environment in the mindscape was really cool this episode. The evil whispering voices are scary. Lol, no wonder Kill Code Moon is insane, from all those whispers being intrusive thoughts and all that.
God this ep was gut wrenching on so, many levels... Frist off I gotta give Luanr some credit here because what he said about wanting to stay and be moons happyiness and being thier for him as a brother..That was so gut wrenchingly sweet and i made me cry because it shows just how deeply Lunar Cares about Moon and Sun both. He wants to leave with Moon or stay with him but, he svery aware of the fact that this isn't going to be a easy choice either way... Lunar your such a good person and you don't deserve this pain being pushed onto you... I hope youll be okay and I do hope Monty(Despit his grim prognosis is) I do turely hope that he finds a way of helping Moon out that dosen't result in him, sun, or even Lunar himself hurt again... Enough is enough.
Also, what Eclipse said to Lunar is absolutely horriable... Like I knew Eclipse was a horrid person but, wow this just puts him on a WHOLE new level.. Monty is a good friend to every single brother in this trio. He's helping Sun, Moon and Lunar through this hard, terrifying time, and you *know* he was going to tell Lunar, "Expecto patronum isn't a real spell," but he stopped himself because he knows how much Lunar believes in Harry Potter. ;w; It's so sweet.

I'm so glad that Lunar is safe, great job on that rescue mission Monty! Next up is Moon. Hopefully the next time Monty goes in there he'll be able to talk some sense into Moon and encourage him to fight against the Kill Code. He needs to know that there is more to him than just one line of code, that he has done so much for his home, has a family that loves and supports him and friends who are willing to stand by his side. Good luck Monty and Moon, you both got this!
Also I wonder how Sun's gonna handle this current situation. He has his little brother back, but now he has to wait even longer for his twin? I don't think he'll be too happy with that. I'm sure Monty and Lunar will be there to help him through this, and he will see Moon once everything is figured out... hopefully.
Lunar is so brave, willing to stay in the mind space for a longer time if it meant helping Moon somehow. But as admirable as that is, he can't stay in a place like that for too long, no one can. Monty made the right call convincing him to leaving and getting him to safety. At least now he is in a safer place and can possibly help the others come up with a plan to save Moon.
Lunar, right now you need to be there for Sun. He's going to be pretty upset and a little hurt for a while, so he's going to need you with him in order to feel better. Play games with him, draw pictures for him, talk with him, do what you can until Moon gets back, ok? We believe in you.

Also just want to put this theory in here because I've been thinking about it a lot but I was wondering why on earth a daycare robot has a kill code in the first place considering their main role was taking care of children so I thought maybe it was originally a code to protect the kids and the establishment. Considering the infamy of Afton, there were probably more copycat killers than just Vanny. Not only that but kidnappers and even abusive parents. Where there is a large group of kids, there will be a large group of weirdos. Vanny's knife created a glitch in Moon's system that made it more prone to lashing out.
Well, it has been confirmed in the “Moon gets Therapy” episode that the KillCode is a virus which means it’s not supposed to be there in the first place.

Yes if you see my previous comments I think it's something similar moons fight or flight response turned PTSD from constantly having to fight sun for basic autonomy/sun not doing anything to help him back then ,maybe vannys knife,whatever traumatic thing happened to him that made him friend's with Satan,the probably not having robot rights originally he he might have had to fight for those as well and there was evidence of how fucked up moons mental state was with his comfort item being a wacking stick.
Anyway I feel like they are looking in the wrong direction moons actually got animatronic brain damage.

I think Lunar might be into something with Expecto patronum. A Patronum is a manifestation of happy thoughts, love and hope. So far he has used his brothers as his patronum. Sun and Lunar. BUT if Moon manifested his own happy thoughts, his true happiness of memories with his brothers and friends and family it could kill it perhaps. Or maybe Sun willingly goes back into his head to be his Patronum and defeat the KILLCODE with his positivity and Love for his brother.
You could be right there. And if moon can get his thoughts to happier places he might be able to combat the kill code.
Expecto Patronum is a spell that Manafest the users happy thoughts and memories and Weaponizes them. Lunar might be thinking in the right direction about using that spell or a similar spell to either weaken or completely neutralize the kill code.
