You couldn't have timed this vid better mate ! Awesome little hunt and thanks for sharing ! But what makes it special is ...... I took £20 's worth of old round pounds into my local ( Notts ) Lloyds Bank yesterday to put into my account , the young girl stared at the condition and I assured her they'd been washed and were clean . It was because I'd found them metal detecting they looked rough . To which she got excited and informed me her mum had just started up detecting and bought a " top of the range " machine ( didn't know brand ) but didn't know what to do to get started . And had been to Skeg last weekend but just found a toy car (! ) . She asked " where do you know where to go ? " To which I explained about permissions and recommended group digs ( although I hate them ) to get started locally . But now your vid has come up so I will pop into Lloyds tomorrow and pass on details of your channel and especially this vid to give her some encouragement mate 😉👍💥
Have done same thing a few times, took coins in bank that have found detecting and get a right funny look of them I'm not to keen on doing group digs neither think it's got a bit ridiculous when they want you to pay 30 quid to dig for the day and I appreciate that thanks mate
@@lincolnshireshistory6877 cheers Keith is Thorpe park affected ,I’ve complained about cleethorpes and it’s unclear as to where it affects not got a reply yet and not heard owt ncmd
Yes mate they don't want anybody on thorpepark or bullet beach incase they walk across the Marsh land to get to it,I know that sounds silly because it is tons on dog walkers cross it everyday 😜
Some nice finds mate. I’m currently watching a few videos and thinking about getting myself a detector. The more I can learn before taking the plunge the better. You mentioned about rocks being on the surface, what’s the significance of that if you don’t mind me asking?
@ianwoodhams6886 Hi mate alot of the time beach detecting to much sand get wash or blown in and makes the targets to deep, when you see rocks showing its a good sign that sand as moved in that area if your going to be doing beach detecting make sure your detector is designed to do beach work some are just for doing land but ther are plenty on the market that are all rounders hope that helps
I love the way you always sound excited, seriously, great finds. Would be over the moon with those finds. Great video as always. Cheers m8.

Hi,Skegness is fine to metal detect on its just cleethorpes now as some restrictions where you need to apply for a permit every time you want to go
That's great thank you. Might see you in January then when I'm over for my birthday lol
