Mike, Quick question if you please. If I deploy Artillery Reserve units with a Corps, do they activate with the Corps or when the AR chit is pulled? Thanks
Sorry< Bill. I answered this from my phone right after you posted. It showed on my phone that is posted, but now on my desktop, no comment! The Artillery activated when the AR chit is drawn. The Union had a more centralized control that allowed for more powerful bombardments, but the South had a more flexible control that allowed for more specific bombardments. It is easier for the South to support an attack, but it is easier for the North to damage a line.

Also, just to be clear on another point, artillery does not need to be in command range to bombard.
