I feel we don’t remember inconsequential things because they didnt make an impression on us. We need to save our brain storage for interesting things. Like how to make a half square triangle. I used to worry about signs of again but decided it’s not something to fight, because fighting it causes it to magnify. I had a similar experience with TV show. My daughter told me I already watched a show. We watched it again and I don’t remember a bit of it. So like you said, it just gives us more things to watch (again). I just found your channel and am enjoying you tremendously.
I agree with relying in technology,I don’t have a cell phone only because its something else for me to carry,however as we age we do forget things because I think when you retire ,it’s not that important any more and if we forget it we can go back and get it later…I have always remember things by saying I have 5 items to get at the store…and remember that way…Things don’t seem to be a priority any more..Well that’s my reasoning and I sticking to it…Try not to let it consume you or you’ll forget even more ask me lol…

My high school experience was a lot like yours.
