I’m having trouble with mine I’ve already installed the cable but I didn’t do it right and snapped it lol bought another set. I noticed you said the longer cable is the top and short cable is the bottom but you installed it the other way
Thank you so much for this tai. I have a question just got a brand new ultrex put it together yesterday when installing the pedal I turn the pedal screwToo far and loosen the cable how easy is it to fix
Loosen the cable from where? Please elaborate. From the pulleys or from the index point? You should be able to realign it watching the video it covers the whole cable system
Tai Dang hey man, great video! Question, when you are talking about the trolling motor being out of index can you explain what that means a little more? I think when I moved this I didn’t exactly have it marked. I don’t want to have something wrong on the motor or snap cables again because I had it lined up wrong. Advice?

Do not need to spice old and new cable with fish line. Just pull out old one and shove new one back in. Just did mine today

carefully cut the plastic sleeve they sell velcro ones for $20.That way if you ever have to do it again its faster

How did you know your cable broke?
It does I just broke mine yesterday. Do you have to order new cable through the dealer or can you just call Minn Kota?
You can order through minn kota also
