The transition to phase 2 is honestly peak. The main character theme drops out and what cuts in is a desperate, frantic battle theme straight out of a fighting game. That in itself is incredible, but then you pair that with the mechanics? The chorus kicking in as the landscape changes and Wicked Thunder materializes in front of the party? It's just so good. Can't wait to get here with my static.
@@lmao_nope not really, took my static less than a week of actually getting there to clear it (however monkasteering that was) it isn't that difficult of a phase unfortunately, kinda wish it was harder since the mechanics are really basic "left to right" "knockback from left to right" (can change to right to left) tank busters, the sabbaths aren't really that difficult either.
You know, with everything going on in those fights I never had time or attention to just look at the boss animations and arena details. Fun to see them from an outside perspective. For example the family photos in M4S P2 arena completely slipped my eyes until now.
I've had those moments. Your camera is pointed a certain way and you tunnel-vision on the options you can see, not understanding why the target isn't moving the way you think it should.
I just realized the undertone melody of "It's Showtime" (At least the beginning) sounds just like "Give it All" melody. The way FF14 incorporates music into the storytelling is masterful and i find myself thinking that every expansion.
I don't know if anyone played Arms on switch but "It's Showtime (black cat theam)" is giving me strong vibes for that, and some of the Gigantemax battle from pokemon, with the crowd cheering to the music.
That was my exact thought too when a friend of mine showed me that song. I got major ARMS vibes from the vocals. (Honestly, even the boss arena itself looks like it could work as an ARMS stage, funnily enough.)
Wicked thurnder she gave it her all as the background music lyrics say, but unfortunately, her Match Schedule luck was the worst. Her lightning was just a little bit tricky static electricity or a flashy lightning show to the warrior of light who returned after stopping the ultimate monster that announced the end of the entire universe.
You might be comparing this to Eden 9 (Cloud of Darkness) which specifically had a debuff preventing you from jumping. No such debuff exists here, so yeah, you can Just Jump.

@4:29 I always thought she sung "Oh gods, again, I really SHOULDN'T have said"? because right before that she sung "so long as you never cross me" which is not really what an idol should've said and may ruin her image? that's how i interpreted it anyway.
FF14 does this thing where they make vocals indecipherable now, and later when they assign another party the job of making the orchestral lyrics. Either that or they make the lyrics for another song and just make this one indecipherable. (Think endsinger being a mash up of every end of expansion boss but her orchestral having lyrics) This is not the case for every track they make but you can tell which tracks follow this vs which don't because of a following theme.

Don't worry, you'll get to hear it a whole, whole lot. :)

Its very interesting how m4s ends up taking place in a golden city filled with memories, just like the msq ending
Shout out to the VPR at 1:42 who desperately tried to fit in the platform 💀
actually made me cackle
Even funnier because they started in the right spot. All they had to do was nothing.

If you listen to the melody of showtime, it's literally just instrumentation of the vocals from give it all.
If you listen, the Green Room theme is also just a more chill instrumental remix of Give It All.
It's called a leitmotiv, and Soken is very good at that ❤
its the same for a few raid tiers.
16:59 A major motif from "It's Showtime" comes in as the only melancholic part of "A Risky Bet." Everything else is "GO GO GO!"
Love these supercuts! Hope you continue to go back and do more themed ones like Alliance Raids cut together, or Bozja field ops.
??? has been making some real bangers so far, I can't wait to see what music they help make in the future :D

It sounds very Persona to me except for the crowd chanting, which is definitely the same effect from Arms, you’re right. XD
To me it's a mix of Persona and ARMS
@@theshadowthie1 I was thinking Persona 5 and Pokemon Sword and Shield myself
I think its the hype chanting
that last song gives me really strong pso2 vibes with the intense electro and chorus chanting
"Tonight this city bleeds red blue and green" A potential reference to the jobs/roles, perhaps?
RGB lights.
Why not both
@@ernesielta prolly both
More like the Main colors of the sisters in the Raid
my attention is divided in M4S phase 2 because of the sad pictures. The sisters deserves better.

"Give it all" is such a sad song, if you understand the pretext.
NEW CHOMUSSUKE VIDEO JUST DROPPED ‼‼‼‼‼‼🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
with a risky bet.... Those mother fudgers making people having feels in a tight spot but just putting stuff in the sky box...
Big fan😊
The cinematic camera is such a great touch!! Love it!! How did you manage it?
I also would really love to know how this effect is achieved. It's a refreshing way to look at the battles. 💛🖤
Duty recorder?
The Raid songs are always made light that. Soken is so genius
1:00 WE CAN JUMP???
Yeah you can

You can even jump them in M1S

That cartoonist can seriously animate some crazy extreme fights. I wonder who’s his sound and music director?
I hate they translated it as "cartoonist" because it clearly supposed to be manga artist or mangaka.

Still waiting for someone to do a slow cover of Give it all because the lyrics are so sad.
The opening is so persona 5 i had to double check i opened the right video...
Right around 2:05 is giving powerful "Galar gym leader battle soundtrack"

She’s got a violent side she tries to hide. Don’t let her honeyed words distract you from the fact she *is* trying to murder you.
I'm a sucker for a good Wrestler "Bad Boy".
You're giving Niffty energy from Hazbin Hotel
is that ddoan i see on rpr in m4s? haha hi ddoan~
Rock themed drum and bass was NOT in the bingo card
Holy, how I miss my ultrawide monitor :(
It really seems like witch hunt is the hardest mech in m4
Unlocked the first one but hadn't run it yet. Decided to clear out my duty finder bonuses and got dropped in this unexpectedly.
The first song is literally arms on steroids
holy fuck she looks so much cuter in her svaage form like daaaaaamn

I can hear "This is my destiny" and a repeated "Die Die Die Die", there's another line in there but I cant get it.
he is using an illegal plugin called Cammy to do this, the same plugin that got all the world first TOP players in big trouble
So Showtime is a jazzy version of Give it All?
How was this all recorded? I'd like to know
