Great idea for a video man. I've actually been starting to get into some of the classics myself, but don't wanna go TOO far toward smelling like an old man. Chanel Pour Monsieur is one I really have grown to love. It and Dior Eau Sauvage, the OG of course!
Ironically enough i picked up Gucci by Gucci not long ago at a closing down sale for just $15 lol. Its unfortunate the performance isn't good because the scent itself is really great. I wear it often and get compliments (25) as does my dad (53) lol so you're spot on with that one.
Another gentlemen fragrance that I wear is Bogart Pour Homme. Sweet, but not in a One Million or Le male way. Smells like a cherry pipe tabacco. Looking forward to your Fall list
Awesome List! I'm the same way. I think it comes down to personality and style. Calmed emotions and lack of being eccentric makes one appear older. Loud and impulsive = younger.
I'd add Armani Pour Homme to this list. It's quite similar to Eau Sauvage but I actually prefer it over the Dior. Some say it's not the same after the reformulation but I think it still smells great.
Eau Sauvage is a timeless classic. Love it and will ALWAYS have in my collection. Performance is an issue but you can get the new Eau de Parfum version. Francois Demachy has brought it closer to the original and lasts.
I totally agree. The EDP is an absolute BEAST, lasts 18+ hours on me...but I thinks its definitely more mature than the EDT, and may come off too mature to a lot of young guys (not to mention to the girls around their age too)
Hay J, thanks for the video. Before making “At the Barber” your signature scent try out “1725 Casanova.” It’s a barbershop fragrance with a sensual twist to capture the ladies attention. I would like to know your opinion.
So I debated with getting the Bottega Veneta for women and the cologne for men. I ended up buying the womens fragrance because it was softer and less harsh to my nose AND it's so earthy that I think its completely unisex.
Bois du Portugal is amazing! Beach walk and Jazz Club are great as well. Both are from the Replica line. You can get samples from any Sephora. Great list
I have always avoid the loud, sweet obnoxious fragrances because i never wanted to smell immature;) A few classy mature scents 1. Tom Ford Grey Vetiver 2. Chanel Platinum Egoiste 3. Creed Millisime Imperial 4. Frapin L'humaniste 5. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte
At the Barbers is a gem. It lasts a decent amount of time on my skin and makes me feel clean and cool. I don't get much love from others with this one, so it is definitely a scent for me when alone. Bottega venneta pour homme is another gorgeous, mature scent. Makes me feel like a million bucks. Great for office as it doesn't project.
Hi JC.Can you do a showcase of frags that ruled in the 80s and 90s, eg YSL Kouros, Givenchy Gentleman. YSL Pout Homme and Jazz, Drakkar, Aramis, Dior Fahrenheit and Jules EDT, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and Metal, etc. Now those were classy gents scents in my time then!
Im looking for a somewhat inexpensive, mature, versatile and casual, thats an easy grab. I have a lot of sweet and " blue" sauvage type scents already. Im thinking about dunhill icon. Can you wear that one casually with a tshirt and jeans?
Great vids Bro! In your explanations you're very clear and not repetitive at all. I appreciated your review of A&F Endeavor, a bargain I picke up travelling around US. Keep it up! Big hug from Argentina.
All fantastic suggestions. If you have a the chance , get your nose on Histories de Parfum 1725. Almost identical to Invasion Barbare and half the price. Superb barbershop with excellent longevity. 👍🏻
Oh really Justin?? I was actually planning on buying given your thoughts on it! I cannot find it in Monterrey though I remember I tested it once and liked it. What would you replace it for? Given a formal spring/summer daytime situation?
I appreciate that. Because I'm a musician, I don't know if I will ever not have any music in my videos, but I do try to balance it out with moments of music and silence.
I love Neroli. I have Mugler Cologne, Banana Republic Neroli Woods, Ferrari Bright Neroli and Dunhill Icon. Of the four I like Icon the least. It’s somewhat cloying and it reminds me of a fragrance that I will never get, Terre d’hermes edt. It just smells like a synthetic disaster but Icon is superior to it and wearable. I know I’m in the minority about TDH. In fact Fragrantica did their 2019 vote and in the category of best fragrance ever for men it’s number 2. Shocking for a number of reasons. I have never smelled this ever on anyone and I get out a lot. Imo, most people purchase it, wear it a few times and it than collects dust but what do I know lol
i understand where u coming from. i have TDH but until now i still dont understand the hype. its too "perfumey" and cloying, especially in tropical weather.
Jeff Copeland yeah bro, definitely good for that central California winter...people may not smell it on me out here when it's -11, you'll be good when it's 40 out. Lol
Jeff Copeland yeah bro, definitely good for that central California winter...people may not smell it on me out here when it's -11, but you'll be good when it's 40 out. Lol
lee w i immediately got a compliment on a date when i met a chick straight away lol. Armani code is a sweet and masculine fragrance that is not too overpowering. Absolutely loved it! And the performance is stupendous!
J Copeland you make great videos and at the end of the day the most important thing about selecting the right cologne is Chemistry. How it reacts to your skin. With this being said, I have to be honest and your best videos are with you and your gf because of the chemistry. Yes she's beautiful and easy on the eyes, but it's the chemistry that makes the video. Get more videos together, even if you have to make a skype video review haha! God bless!
Omg!!! I've wanted to say the exact same thing but didn't want to offend!!!! J is so classy and he really educates you with the Fragrance...I absolutely love it! Out of all the ones on TH-cam he is my favorite!
@@stayfreshproductions I understand the respect and that's something I would never take from anyone...... But you are just better ( to me) on so many levels!
Gucci by gucci is a great smell, not to many people talk about this. I have gone thru like 4 bottles of this stuff since it came out. Gets compliments
Great classic background music!
Great idea for a video man. I've actually been starting to get into some of the classics myself, but don't wanna go TOO far toward smelling like an old man. Chanel Pour Monsieur is one I really have grown to love. It and Dior Eau Sauvage, the OG of course!
Thanks Josh! I'm glad I'm not the only one. :)
I've used Eau Sauvage off and on since the 70s. And I currently have a bottle in rotation.
I'm loving Memoir Man for a mature scent suitable for a younger guy. It's super classy with a mysterious edge, quality stuff!
My favorite Amouage, highly underrated
Ironically enough i picked up Gucci by Gucci not long ago at a closing down sale for just $15 lol. Its unfortunate the performance isn't good because the scent itself is really great. I wear it often and get compliments (25) as does my dad (53) lol so you're spot on with that one.
I have the same scent style and for me Dior Fahrenheit wins it...amazing fragrance imo
Another gentlemen fragrance that I wear is Bogart Pour Homme. Sweet, but not in a One Million or Le male way. Smells like a cherry pipe tabacco. Looking forward to your Fall list
Thank you sir...still need to get my nose on Bogart PH.
Awesome List! I'm the same way. I think it comes down to personality and style. Calmed emotions and lack of being eccentric makes one appear older. Loud and impulsive = younger.

Need to try that one!
I own Eau Sauvage, but the Parfum version of 2012.
Nice job! Great voice, articulate and great descriptions. We also have similar tastes. Keep it up!
Colonia intensa is indeed amazing. Smokey too.
My scent of the day is Acqua Di Parma Colonia Essenza
Brandon Salam how is it bro. Is it a compliment monster?

so how old are you is my question
So I debated with getting the Bottega Veneta for women and the cologne for men. I ended up buying the womens fragrance because it was softer and less harsh to my nose AND it's so earthy that I think its completely unisex.
I'll need to check it out!
Finally someone who feels the way I feel about Bottega Veneta.. it’s class and sophistication in a bottle.. it’s my signature scent now
Its so good! I love the Extreme version too
J. C. I’ll definitely check the extreme version..sounds like my kind of scent
Thanks u sir scent 4 today brand new azzaro wanted,.u have to buy it nice. Fall time .passing thru....
Bois du Portugal is amazing! Beach walk and Jazz Club are great as well. Both are from the Replica line. You can get samples from any Sephora. Great list
Love breaking out original John Varvatos and Vintage on the colder days.
I have always avoid the loud, sweet obnoxious fragrances because i never wanted to smell immature;)
A few classy mature scents
1. Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
2. Chanel Platinum Egoiste
3. Creed Millisime Imperial
4. Frapin L'humaniste
5. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte
Great picks! I especially love L'Humaniste and Millesime Imperiale.
Awesome content bro!! Keep going with the outstanding work! BIG THUMBS UP Justin 👍👍💪
Thank you Max! I hope you're doing well, my friend!

Bottega venneta pour homme is another gorgeous, mature scent. Makes me feel like a million bucks. Great for office as it doesn't project.
That's a great shirt. Hope the polo store over here has this pattern and color
For classy and mature I would include Mugler Cologne and DandG the one EDP also.

If I can get my hands on all of them someday, I'll consider it.
I tried barber shop one yesterday I almost pulled the trigger on it . Stuff tempting for sure
Its good stuff!
Chanel Platinum Egoiste was my choice between the two when I wanted a barbershop scent.
Very classy delivery too I must add.
Thank you, Randall!

That one is certainly on my list, I plan on smelling it before I commit to a bottle of ATB. Thank you!
Acqua di Parma Essenza is a great sophisticated scent. Totally worth it.
Great list my friend! I need to check out Replica. Great vid as always.
Thank you Ryan!
Dope list really enjoyed content.. My Sotd is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
Thanks Keith!
I dont like the drydown of Colonia Intensa personally reminds me a little of Opium for women, Colonia Assoluta is my Fav.
Opium, huh? Interesting...although I wouldn't wear opium, I think it smells really good lol
Excellent review ...thanks alot
I like dunhil icon alot ...and i hope to buy green irish tweed soon .
Thank you Wael
Omg I'm so happy I continued to watch (lol) I was gonna comment and suggest you try John Varvatos Vintage. Awesome scent
Lol! Glad to hear it.
What about Tom Ford Grey Vetiver?
Funny, I was originally planning to include that one...but somehow it was replaced. I've actually fallen out of love with that one for some reason.
Oh really Justin?? I was actually planning on buying given your thoughts on it! I cannot find it in Monterrey though I remember I tested it once and liked it. What would you replace it for? Given a formal spring/summer daytime situation?
I knew vintage was coming. Every young man needs a bottle of this.
Couldn't agree more!
Is it a compliment monster?
@@jameswalker3800 I don't really wear that one for compliments
Great concept! Great choice of frags!
Thanks Miles!
Love your video!! Youre classy gent and nice guy!! Congrats 👍🏻
Thanks bro!
Your voice is chill and calm, the background music doesn't fit particularly well....no music fits better for your voice
I appreciate that. Because I'm a musician, I don't know if I will ever not have any music in my videos, but I do try to balance it out with moments of music and silence.
Great fragrance's list , what dou you think about masculin pluriel?
Beautiful!

I'll be getting that John Varvatos. Is it good for the winter?

Scent of the day is tom ford oud wood
Dark rebel rider..
My scent of the day is armani profumo
Great scent
Mine too. Profumo line is simply a masterpiece. Bot code and adg

I loved ADP Colonia Essenza that much I bought a 180ml bottle! #dumbreach!
Rive Gauche is one of my favorites in this category.
I really want to get my nose on that and at the barbershop.
More elegant and sophisticated fragrances
Really love Dior Eau Sauvage, agree that the performance is terrible though. Great list man
Thanks bro!
Yolo u must have a fake one if u say the performance is terrible
Great review BROTHER
You prefer Prada l'homme or YSL l'homme?
Hard to choose. They're both very different, that's why I have both!
we seem to have to same taste :)
excellent
Nice video sir!!
Thank you man!
Am I the only one who thinks Dunhill Icon smells similar to Terre de Hermes?
I can get you on that sir, I thought the same of Yardley Citrus and Wood, the Dunhill has much better performance and longevity though .
J.C. = Always sophisticated
Nice voice
Bruhhhhhh no TF Grey Vetiver EDP?!? Literally the epitome of a young gentleman’s scent.
Wear what you love bro! I couldn’t fit them all into one list. I like GV, but not has much as I did at first.
I’m old
Get on into your line up playa!
Nice bro
Nice list! You are such a classy guy way better than Jerermy fragrance! Just don't start spinning like him lol!
I really appreciate the kindness, brother. And each reviewer just has a different aesthetic and style! I really respect Jeremy.
Sainy Scents have to agree with you bro nothing against Jeremy but for me too!!my bro JC keep up the good work coming 😉😉😉
A L G i havr nothing against Jeremy either but this guy is the man! Class in a bottle

Hey JC. Enjoy your reviews , but how about a review for "Top 10 Classy & Mature Fragrances For OLDER MEN!!" 40+ Thanks, Bob
Haha! I'll look into it.
Would be nice to have colognes from non European non white designers.
I've talked about several since making this video over 4 years ago.
Cam Newton!!
144p and first. YYEEAAAA

Come on -where is Invictus, One million and Black XS? :-/
;D
