I miss the small bottle rockets that had the paper fuses. We would put a small charge of smokless powder in a mortar tube, and put a handful of these rockets in the tube. When the powder ignited, most of the fuses would light all at once. A really nice barrage.!
Been by that place a few times on vacation when heading out to hike in the Valley of Fire, next time we'll have to make a fireworks stop on our way back!
You could also go to the Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin Nevada. They sell fireworks and have an area next to the Colorado River to light them off rockets included
Hey, I believe I see another way to better secure the long-stemmed/stick fireworks out of the Renegade Rack by Redbeard's Showcase Fireworks rack. It looks like the straw-tubes can easily fit down through the loops on the back of the rack. Yeah, I know, the loops do the job and may work fine. But the tubes do act as a longer stabilizer over the rings; that is, once the firework slips through the bottom ring it can easily tilt before leaving the top ring. However, by placing the long straw-tubes down these loop holes, the rocket remains in straight path longer before leaving the straw-tube. 🚀
My dad, and now me, use a trough made with two 1x4s (a smooth hunk of angle iron or a piece of aluminum guttering works great too). It makes for a really stable launch so you can aim it in the right direction and at the right angle to view the whole rocket.
Cody - What's the best method for lighting a group of multiple small rockets during an e-fired show? Securing visco fuse is almost impossible b/c the rocket fuses are so fragile and not intact with the rocket (a little bit of manipulation and the fuse falls out).
As someone who lives in a state that does not allow aerial fireworks, I must be content living vicariously through you. Keep up the great content! Thoroughly enjoyed.
I'm down in Las Vegas and I was wondering what that noise was! Very Cool! Before they opened up the recreational and pool area where I live, they would shoot off $100,000 worth of fireworks. It was one of the best shows I had ever seen. Thanks for the video!
I travel Asia alot and am lucky to be retired by 50. I have occasionally held parties as I travel and the stuff I buy in Asia is just nuts. You have to be really careful for your life's sake. Nothing wrong with a bit of health and safety 😂
That's a fantastic place to enjoy this hobby. However, from what I can see, People need to respect the art and pick up the debris when they're finished.
Meanwhile the customers at the gas station a mile away trying to figure out why you're launching a fireworks show loaded up with rockets out in the middle of nowhere and July 4th isn't for another 3 months and 3 weeks (and probably too distracted on theiur phones trying to film this from a mile away in the other direction) 🤣🤣🤣
You know? You are right. That's a great point to make. Anything made from fossil plastics these days can be made by a multitude of materials that are highly biodegradable.
Long haul trucker here, I know that truck stop well and very common for Truckers to go into the store and get fireworks and light them off.
That was pretty cool, i got to admit.
They also have a walk-in humidor with a great selection of cigars at decent prices.
I like the open road and I love fireworks. Maybe that could be a new career
Who cleans up the mess ?

Moapa band of Paiutes Tribe's travel plaza is the best my peeps down on the Rezervation ! ! !

Very enjoyable video! We don't get too many fireworks where I am due to dry conditions and the forests.
good show
You can never have too many fireworks or too many Rockets🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘

You could also go to the Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin Nevada. They sell fireworks and have an area next to the Colorado River to light them off rockets included

Wow, I like these beautiful rockets, especially the Balloon Destroyer. Keep up the good work Cody!
So cool.
I love that place! Discovered it a few years ago on a gas stop and wandered into the back room having no idea what was there.
My favorite fireworks, rockets
Love the Radioactive Rockets!!
Your intro is exactly why "proper" rockets blow themselves out! No embers! 😊
Welcome to the sky was my fav...perfect break. Radioactives were obviously great too! 🎇🎆
Keep popping broski. I'm just sad that my country only sell fireworks 🎉🎉🎉firecracks at holidays time

The reapers are awesome I had a case of those for new years.

Just a few household chemicals in the proper proportions...
I love how excited you get when they go off 😂 I have to admit though, I'd be exactly the same 👍👍😁
Sweet and thanks for the show.
That was so cool
Great job
So cool fireworks
He’ll yeah the rocket videos are my favorite
With the exception of Apollo 11 what ever go's up must come down
What you guys in usa dominate the cake market the uk has some amazing huge rockets
Cant wait for the bucket O rockets
Have you been to Pahrump yet?

Love this.
Loves those radioactive rockets....
I love it out there
Definitely can't have balls touching! 😂 Another great vid Cody!!
That rocket cake was cool, world class has one very similar but it's actually like a satellite thing, kinda small for it's size though
If you staggered the rings on the rack you could use both sides. Yes you may lose 1 or 2 on each side but yous till doing 25-26 at a time
Awesome video can’t wait till your next collectors corner
I use the tubes that come with to make a rack cut them in small pieces and do what the big rack had with the loops you can make it smaller and cheaper
I giggled at “look at the size of this rack!”
The rockets in the UK can go a lot bigger than any of those. 180g nec is maximum and I love volleys (when the budget allows!)
Do you guys pick up all the mess when your done or leave
This is soooo one of my favorite channels! I got fireworks in my life year round!
Did you get the Radioactive rockets at that same Moapa store i cant seem to find them anywhere
Love your videos you gotta try Big Boy Rockets next time.
3:25 "the balls touch like that" is they gayest way you could have possibly put it LMAO
This is by far my favorite video of yours Cody!
Love the enthusiasm 😊 great video
Just rained the sky will light up tonight!!💪🏽
Where do you find his racks? He doesn't have them listed on his website.
I was ALMOST disappointed, I had to scroll pretty deep to find a "balls touch like that" comment lol. I too hate it when the balls touch like that.
Radioactive rockets ❤️
this is one off the coolest video i have seen
I travel Asia alot and am lucky to be retired by 50. I have occasionally held parties as I travel and the stuff I buy in Asia is just nuts. You have to be really careful for your life's sake. Nothing wrong with a bit of health and safety 😂
Awesome video and loved those rockets 🚀
Very nice!
Holy Smokes! Great video CodyB 🎉🎉🎉

Urban Pyro Legend traveling the Back Roads of America

I love those rocket test videos! Well done again❤❤❤
👍👍👍👍👍
How are you set them off
He said "balls touch like that" 😂
those balloon destroyer are no joke good thing i got a case 🔥
now that was a badass video nothing more fun then lightning off a ton of them
What were those last 2 you shot before the radioactive ones?
I know why it's called Balloon Destroyer Rockets. Because the break sounds like a balloon popping
They obviously don't keep the place clean
Great place just need to bring your own fireworks lol

Where can I purchase an xl rocket launchpad. Can I do it online or do I have to go to a firework stand?
go to Redbeards Fireworks Showcase, yes you can do it online
🎇🎇🎆🎆
Can you do 3 stage nuclear rocket
You need to come out for the after party moapas loudest day
What day is that this year?
At 3:28 the rockets being too close to each other, why not use a sideways 2x4 for the top piece of the wooden launch frame?
Best part of Moapa is no clean up ,just enjoy and leave
I"m not a fan of fireworks incorporating plastic parts these days. At least paper will eventually go away, even in the desert.
You know? You are right. That's a great point to make. Anything made from fossil plastics these days can be made by a multitude of materials that are highly biodegradable.
