Bert has seriously invaded your head. I have listened to this many dozens of tines since you posted this and this is just 'pure awesome' as we say around here. It's just sublime Pierre. You and Sean are the men. I saw Bert play this in Nov 1974 and he fluffed a few notes but it still made it onto 'The River Sessions' Album which I have upstairs. Very difficult.
Fabulous playing ! One of Bert's all time great tunes. I saw him play live 4 times and I always wished that he would play this, but he never did, alas !
I saw Bert play this, only once. Nov 1974, City halls Glasgow. It ended up on the 'River Sessions' album, fluffs and all. He freely admitted he rarely played it because it is/was so difficult. Nowadays my favourite cover versions are by Pierre, Sean Siegfried and Johnson Hogg. All awesome.
This is as close to Bert as I can find. On another note, your hammer-on of the E in the second section corrected a fingering issue I had! I played that E note on the D string, second fret. After watching this video, I corrected that. It pays to observe an expert closely.
Excellent cover of a Jansch classic ...what guitar are you playing on ...was thinking of a fylde until saw price ...John Smith one 10,000 pounds...does anyone want to rob a bank with me.. keep you fine picking acoming..
I should pehaps add, I've done a little work on both Fylde and Lowden guitars. They are made of wood. They move around. Same as any other musical instrument. The price matters the least. Playability is what matters. Cost is the least of it.
These are evocative and moving renditions! Dreaming the dream onward as Jung said...Many thanks...please can you let me know how I can contact you to obtain tabs...

I've neve seen anyone playing Bert like you do.
Il serait temps que Pierre soit reconnu dans sa passion-travail. Il s'applique depuis + de 40 ans
This is a beautiful ... I love the way it begins to run away as it breaks out of the initial tune... fine work, Old Picker!
Great! Bert lives on through you!
You got it!
excellent...wonderful, yes Bert lives on...thank you
Eblouissant !!!

Great playing
Great!
Pierre, est-ce que c'est le chanson le plus difficil pour jouer de Bert?
it is indeed pretty difficult to play but easier than beethoven 9th symphony
Bravo. Excellent. You may want to check out Sean Siegfreid's version.
Great Pierre as usual! That's a different guitar.....what is it?
it's a 70 euros piece of shit but real easy to play and I love it

Doesn't matter what you play so long as you can. Even Herr-Bert himself said that.
I should pehaps add, I've done a little work on both Fylde and Lowden guitars. They are made of wood. They move around. Same as any other musical instrument. The price matters the least. Playability is what matters. Cost is the least of it.
nice
Jansch accroche une tapisserie riche sur le mur avec des clous et un marteau, alors que vous utilisez des aiguilles d'or!

You don't need Pierre for the tabs. Try Google.
