  • In this demonstration, water liquid was heated to the boiling point till evaporation/condensation occurs. The evaporation/condensation model under the multiphase was used. Two methods were explored and compared (VOF and Mixture)

Hello, Great video, thank you so much !
I have a similar problem where I need to simulate droplet evaporation in fluent using VOF, I get inaccurate results and would really appreciate it if you could help me
    Thank you

    Hello my friend,
Can you do the work of spraying the n-heptane / air mixture from a hollow cone type injector?
For the fragmentation of the fuel, it must be modeled with the KH-RT model. Can you post this kind of helpful video?
    Thank you from now

Say, would it be possible to simulate the evaporation of ethanol from a ethanol/water mixture in an open container?

I think it should be possible. I will look into that! Pls subscribe for more!

@@ansysfluentcfdsolutions3101 that would be awesome. I have been trying to find models for evaporation of congeners from the inside of whisky glassware

What if the container is closed.
    Please help

You can give it a shot! Instead of pressure outlet at the top, change the boundary condition to wall. In that case, try density-based solver since there will be pressure build-up.
