Josh, you can use hairspray to keep the tires from slipping off the rims. It'll hold the tires on but it won't be permanent so if later on you want to remove them you can easily pull them off. Back in the day late 80s to mid 90s when I raced BMX we used hairspray to make changing grips easier but it had the added benefit of also locking them in place so they didn't spin you. 👍👍 _🎆🎇Happy Independence Day🎇🎆_
I’ve been thinking about making my own custom rat rod from scratch and was wondering what are some tips that are very helpful when building one from scratch, love your channel by the way.
All of my Scratchbuilt ratrods were completely different. I guess the first step is deciding on a body and tire and wheel. Getting the style and proportions you like, then making a chassis that fits it all together.
Okay, that’s kinda what I’m doing I’m currently 3D modeling everything for it so I can kinda play with every little detail as it goes along, I’m thinking about doing tracks on the rear and either steel wheels or wire spoke wheels on the front
Just ordered me a SS a few minutes ago super excited!
Nice love the body and I'm digging on those front wheels thanks for sharing 👍
Love the vid and thank you for the help on my new rc4wd blazer we are going to put on the 70s and see how it looks this is nates son by the way
I'm enjoying the truck jest got the rims on
Looking at this as you build, the front wheels real close to cab with a mid-engine would be unique for your collection.
Try spraying Aquanet hair spray on the wheels to stick the tires. We used to use it to stick handle grips on dirt bike in my youth...so long age lol
