I just tried this shave cream and you are totally right... It's the best shave cream I've used... I totally love it... And thanks for the tip on Bath and Body Works... I just bought three more with the buy two get one free deal... Thanks Again!
Hi Patrick! Awesome - I’m happy that the info helped and you’re loving the shave cream! Thanks for watching and we’ve got more (hopefully just as helpful) videos coming soon. Stay tuned and stay safe!
Another great review! I actually use this shave cream and love it. I don't shave my head but I use it on my face and chest and find it to be the best in lubrication and overall feel. Oh and I have to buy mine from Amazon because Bath and Body Works doesn't carry it in store anymore for a while. Thanks again for another great review. This is the second one I've come across with you doing 2 products I use, the first being The Defender Razor. Have an amazing New Year!
I ran out of my stock of this stuff and went back to bath and body works to resupply and discovered that they no longer carry it. But Amazon carries Proraso which is basically the same thing.
Found your channel looking up C.O. Bigelow shave cream reviews.. I'm using it now consistently for face shaving. It is legit a quality product. I use a shave brush to lather. But have used it w out, both ways work. It's funny because the first time I bought it, I was at a bath and body works cause my gf dragged me in there to look for candles 😂. Highly recommend this over any canned cream. ( Throw that 💩 away) It just leaves the skin feeling smooth and refreshed and helps the blade glide like butter.
I been using this exact product for a year and cant wait to venture out to the Proraso brand...which i believe is what this product is and just repackaged.
Hi groucho77! Proraso makes it "Exclusively" for C.O. Bigelow, but you bring up a good point - is it REALLY an exclusive formula or just repackaged? You just gave me a great idea for a comparison video. :-) Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment!
If you aren't already using this with a shaving brush, I highly recommend it. It's worth every extra second of time spent building the lather. Not only does it make the experience more enjoyable using the brush, it also makes it last longer too, as you'll only need about an almond sized amount to lather up your head couple of times.
Hi Dan! That's GREAT to know because I'm actually getting ready to start a series of videos on shave brush reviews, so I'm eager to get that going and share my findings. I've never used one before, so this'll be interesting. Thanks for being here, man!
@@NotAHairModel There are tons to choose from, and prices and quality will vary drastically. There are four types, boar, horse, and badger hair, and then the newest and easily the most "user friendly" is the synthetic fiber brushes. I honestly feel that shave brushes are kind of the "next level" in the world of shaving. There can be a very deep rabbit hole, but it is possible to reach your hand in, grab what you need, and get out. Ask me anything you want to know, If I don't know the answer, I can guide you to tons of youtubers who will have the answers.
Dan, this is excellent info - thank you! I will definitely be taking you up on your offer to ask you anything. My email is listed in the "About" tab, so feel free to shoot me a note with the best way to contact you directly. Thanks again!!!
I was about to tell you to use a brush, I see that you plan on it! A brush with something like or the caffeinated cream will be way better. That amount you squeezed while taking about the texture and such, use about.... A fourth of that and you will be able to shave for many passes.
