From the using of this nickname, and how he love to travel and how he kindly respects different cultures, I'm sure he is a very friendly and warm-hearted man, who loves freedom and he is a well-cultured man! Where have you seen negative comments? I am German myself and to say that there are only 2 types of Germans is wrong. Most Germans are very open-minded. The older generation is more against foreigners. It also depends on whether you come from West or East Germany. People from West Germany are more open-minded. I myself am in Indonesia (Bandung) every year and have never met anyone who reduces me because I am German. On the contrary, they were always very friendly and interested in Germany.

honestly i'm being a local person of Yogyakarta i never get this "gunungan" because it's so crowded & need more energy to get it 😂 but you're so cool you can see so close 😃
It seems that this tradition only exists in Jogja, I am in Jakarta there is no tradition like in Jogja, I only do Eid like gathering with family,and in Jakarta this Eid on April 23 yesterday was 1 day different, enjoy Eid day😁
you came late *carlos* 😔, you missed the parade of palace soldiers accompanying the gunungan. it will be more interesting if you come around 8 am, the parade starts from the southern palace, heading to the northern palace. and ends at the Great Mosque of Kauman.
