I've crappie fished all my life, out of a boat since 1990. I'll have forward facing soon, I've fished with Garmin and Lowrance , like them both, since i already have 3 Lowrance units, I'm going with Lowrance. Good video
Hopefully I got soaked yesterday snagged a couple bass on a frog with one over 5 tho going out for the strike king tomorrow in the rain should be miserable haha
Definitely nice on a smaller boat but a full size would benefit more with trolling motor mounted if hunting big fish. But if just fishing brush cant beat a pole
Great content! One suggestion on your video quality. Lose the light behind you as it is washing out your image. Put the light behind your camera and face it as you record.
Let's ban it and keep sidescan so I can see 100ft on both sides of my boat mark the fish with GPS and go over there and limit out everyday. Livescope only cuts out time and if you want you can spend all day looking for a trophy fish. Don't use it as an excuse till you've used it. This not Randy Balkut channel.
@Turner Fishing I don't want to ban it everywhere, but it would be nice if there were some lakes where it was banned. Certain places have bait restrictions and hp restrictions; I don't see why we can't have some electronics restrictions.
@ Joe Johnson HP restrictions on smaller impoundments are primarily for safety reasons, and bait restrictions are to ensure the ecosystem of any given lake or pond is as healthy as possible - nothing to do with "fair chance"... That sounds alot like DEI "wokesism". So, by that logic, me and all my 50 plus year experienced fishing buddies would not be allowed to fish? Would we have to fish on different days based on a "class system" such as Junior Class or Master Class, etc? Alot of older fisherman, including myself, may have said the same things in the beginning about LiveScope, but now have it. You still have to know how to fish, period. Moreover, we primarily target the larger slabs. IF, and it's a big IF, in the future, the Fish and Wildlife Biologists determine LiveScope has affected the population of any given species, then they will most certainly lower the creel limits on same... People need to stop worrying about other people's fishing, and concentrate on their own, they'll be much happier.... Good one Steve, and Congrats...Never thought about the increased light aspect. I'll have to look harder 😂 👍
@Dave Dumb comment. DEI would require you to give your Livescope to someone else. Bait restrictions I'm referring to are in place to make it more difficult to catch fish in certain areas. For example, many trout fisheries require barbless hooks, and artificial lures only. Livescope gives the angler an advantage, and because only rich people have it, it's basically a way for rich boys to get richer. I stand by what I said: it would be nice if there were a few Livescope-free fisheries.
@@joejohnson4592 dumb in your opinion Joe. Barbless hooks? ... You're deflecting. That has to do with not harming the fish - again, nothing to do with "fairness". You just made my argument for me as well, with the rich boys get richer comment and the unfair advantage nonsense. I live on a Military pension. You simply have a chip on your shoulder, and can't stand someone else enjoying something in a way you can't, period. All that HP and restrictions nonsense is just fallacious. Good luck out there!
10000 hours on LiveScope would be more than three years,365 days a year at 8 hours everyday. 🤔🤔 By the way congratulations on your ten thousand subscribers. 👍
Of course, it's here to stay. People can be lazy and not learn how to really fish. Not develop real angler skills! Pretty soon, they Won't even cast their lines! They'll have an electronic fishing pole with a playstation controller in their hands. They'll sit on their boat stare at their computer screen and do it all from their controller!
We did it! 10k! Wooo
Congratulations!
You know this man honest . Let’s all chip in hey buy his Crappie Man Jigs !

Definitely nice on a smaller boat but a full size would benefit more with trolling motor mounted if hunting big fish. But if just fishing brush cant beat a pole
Congrats on the milestone
Appreciate it bud
You talked about missing fish and than following them what mode do you have it on to do this forward or perspective?
Forward. Just gotta stay eith the fish your targeting and follow him around
Great video👌
Good info. Thanks
Nice video! I have been using my live scope for about a year now and I've learned so much! Everything you have said is very true.
Thanks brother !!!!!
6240 equal 40 hours a week x 3 years. You mean to say your garmin unit is on close to 70 hours a week 52 weeks a year
Seeing as I teach sonar and im on the water 6 days a week... 10 hours a day ain't nothing lol time on the water is the most important part of fishing.

Um definitely me 🤣🤣
I keep hoping livescope will be banned on certain lakes. That way there will still be lakes where everybody has the same chance.

More work using it than the payoff unless you really like catching 1 big fish a day. Speaking without using isn't a bad thing just pointless
