    Thank you for sharing your experience!
    I was not sure which filter to get for my specific needs and you saying the ND1000 is the one to shoot in very bright conditions helped me!
    I wanted to get a high quality filter because having bought a 2000 Euro lens it would be stupid to buy a cheap filter!

    Ken Faith is one of those brands like Tamron: They used to be a cheapo manufacturer but turned into a high quality brand.

      Yeah, 10 years ago most NDs were bad but things have definitely changed for the better.

    Thanks for the detailed review! I've been trying to find out what the difference is between these PRO filters vs their Nano-x Tru color ones?

    I bought a 55 and 67, both with huge cross. I can't use them. Trying to return them, but they say I must prove the problem, like they dont know about it.

    Thanks for the video! What's your opinion: ND+CPL, or just ND?

    Schwere Wahl zwischen den beiden Filtern. Ist der ND 1000 tatsächlich sinnvoll für Videoaufnahmen oder eher für Foto-Langzeitbelichtungen?

    • @FenchelJanisch2
      @FenchelJanisch2  ปีที่แล้ว

      Der ND1000 macht vor allem bei Außendrehs im Sommer Sinn. Besonders wenn man mit offener Blende dreht. Dafür ist der ND2-ND32 schlichtweg zu hell.

    My 82mm gets a huge X on it. Was disappointed because my 72mm worked fine on my 50mm

    There's a 3 to 7 now, but it's twice as less expenssive with less coatings.

    The vari one could be a good addition to my kit just not sure if they match with my cheaper filters.

    • @FenchelJanisch2

      Certainly something to consider. It's difficult mixing filters from different brands. It's best to get a high quality ND and use it on different lenses with step-up rings to get the best results.

    Can you advise on a solution for a lens cap for these filters? I have gone through three different lens cap options and none of them work.

    • @robinreimann
      @robinreimann 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you find a solution?

    • @mikehauser1855
      @mikehauser1855 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did, yes. It turns out that there was a major quality problem on the frame of the filter. I had two, one of them accepted a lens cap easily, the other would not. So I sent the bad one back, got another bad one. They sent me another bad one, I sent it back. Finally, they fourth one they sent me accepted a lens cap.@@robinreimann

    • @mikehauser1855
      @mikehauser1855 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@robinreimann Yes, I did. Turns out that there is a quality problem at K&F. I bought two and one of them shipped without filter threads. So I had it replaced, and the new one they sent me also didn't have any threads. Next one did, though. So just be careful and send it back if it doesn't have threads on it.

    • @mikehauser1855
      @mikehauser1855 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thenadwork Turns out it was a quality issue. I bought two and one of them came without front threads. Had to return it twice before I got one that had the correct threads on it. 72mm front thread.

    Is it normal that this filter has also a polarizing effect?

    Kann man die Filter mit allen Kameraobjektiven verwenden, z.B. Kompaktkameras?

    • @FenchelJanisch2
      @FenchelJanisch2  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wenn das Kameraobjektiv vorne ein Filtergewinde hat, sollte das in jedem Fall mit Step-Up/Adapter-Ringen möglich sein.

    How does nano x pro variable nd compare to nisi true color nd?

    Any difference between nano x and nano x pro?

    • @ly8370
      @ly8370 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      28 nano layers (nano x) vs 35 nano layers (pro). Supposedly can further reduce glaring. Naxo X pro is made of brass while non-pro is aluminium.
