I'm so skeptical about that. I would love a manual, that is all I've ever owned but man I hate the way a manual Wrangler drives so I'm worried it will be similar. I'll probably order my Badlands with the bigger engine with the Auto. I want a 2 door too, but gotta figure out if I can get my dog in the back. So hard ordering a car you can't drive first!
I reserved my outter banks 2 door in Kona Blue(?) with 2.7V6, leather rawhide seats and Sasquatch package. Will customize the bumpers. I own a 2019 Edge ST and know that you can squeeze +400hp out of the TTV6!
How about the Sasquatch package offering a less aggressive tire option? It would give the Bronco that original sleeper look. Something like a Kumho Road Adventure 235/75R 17 or a Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT 225/75R 17. Also it would give it an everyday driver capability with an awesome off road ability for those who might want that. I’ve got my reservation in for the Black Diamond which I would like to add the mid package, towing, and the Sasquatch.
Agreed, and probably why they say the package won't be available on the 4 cyl. Might be overkill for it? I personally want basic, simple, and reliable, less to go wrong, and the most fuel efficiency I can get. The base model 4 cyl manual sounds perfect to me, and the Sasquatch is nice but may add too much cost and compromise that efficiency. Truth be told most of these will still be on pavement the vast majority of the time. Some less aggressive, quieter, higher traction all-terrains sound good to me.
Unfortunately ford has been having some issues with that turbo 4 cylinder. Now if they offered the manual with the manual transmission It would be an easy choice.
thanks for pointing out that the Bronco can be flat towed behind an RV. That is a must for me and not many vehicles out there are available for flat towing.
Currently I have the Outer Banks selected but there's some things I'm hoping I can customize - Bigger tires without getting complete sasquatch edition? Rubberized floors as I'd love to add that? Also why is the soft top standard, and hope the modular hard top isn't too much of an upcharge! Also eager to see all of the different seating options as it does seem like there are a lot!

Good review! Believe you skipped over the HIGH package (you went from Mid to Lux). A couple of key things with the High is that you get a 12" center stack touchscreen, 360-degree camera; additional sound deadening materials; Forward Sensing System; and sideview mirror LED approach lamps and spotlight. The Big Bend version is the first version to get the option for the mid package. If you get the base, you can't get the mid package. So if you want the cheapest package that includes "mid package" Big Bend is the one to get.
I wanna ask for advice , what would be the best for city use - no off road plans - all I feel would be important for me is to have an automatic transmission and a back up camera - I’m still confused with the different packages and trims , what should be my starting point ? Probably could use an annotation to correct the error. Both options of transfer case when combined with the automatic trans. will even be out performed by the manual trans. with the base transfer case option.
Lol people complaining about it not being a v8. The original had like 105 hp. 310 hp 400lb tq is great for a small vehicle. That being said I’d still prolly buy the 5.0 if they offered it.
There’s a company called pax that will put a 5.0 in one for you for 30k or if you want a supercharged 5.0 45k. 410hp for n/a 5.0 and 720hp I think for The supercharged.
I don’t think that’s accurate. I’m looking on Fords website and I don’t see any Indication of that being the case. You should be able to get the Sasquatch package on both the 4 and 6 cylinders. Maybe I missed it in this video or I could be mistaken.
Give them time, they are using what they know will sell now and most likely are holding on to a 4 cylinder power stroke and hybrid options once they see how it does on the market.
Pst... pro tip from a previous car salesman. After the hype calms down. If you argue the dealer destination charge usually you can get it waived. 👍 not guaranteed but sometimes you can.
if things go well I want the grey/blue one we see in the video with white top or colour match and the marine interior the white grey is stunning also with the 2'' lift and 37 they said will be available so in the badland loaded it will come out super but at a price here in Canada of about 70K$ but who cares its all in right!!!
Here the price for a badland will start at 52994$ add the lux and sasquash it will be near 70k then the 2 inches lift and 37s +tx(15%) easily in mid to high 80k$, lucky us👎😞🤬
I'm compiling a list of questions for Ford. If there's something you want to know that's not on the Ford website ask them below and I'll do a follow up video.
Are the rear seats in the 2 door easily removable? There are only 2 of us with very few times we might have 3 in the car. It would be nice to remove the rear seats and have that extra cargo space. My 2003 Rav4 has removable rear seats and makes for a lot more room when removed.
I ordered the Wildtrak...can you get the vinyl seats and drain plugs as an option or is it just standard cloth with the ability to upgrade to leather? Btw, love your channel. Keep the Bronco videos coming!
Think the rubberized floor should be the only way it comes - ditch the carpet! Sasquatch package needs to be available on all models. Too many silver/gray color options. Earth tones like tan/khaki/FDE and something along the lines of an OD green would be good.
I'm confused now. So you can't go bigger tires on the 7 speed? However @ 14:02 the famous yellow 2 Door Bronco with hole in doors is lifted with a manual trans. I want to achieve that look with the manual trans.
I really like the idea of the Black Diamond as I won't be doing any rock crawling but probably some dirt/rural roads and some snow along with going to the beach some. Maybe the only thing I would add after a period of time would be 33 inch all terrain tires instead of 32's. Who else likes the Black Diamond?
i ordered the black diamond in manual, but hate the fact that ford doesn't offer mid package to add on. They force your hand to pay for a badlands to get a manual with all the tech stuff
It is important to note too the Sasquatch package is not available on the 4cyl Manual. Want 35" tires and locking diffs you need to go to the v6 auto. That is disappointing...
I hope this isn’t a dumb question but by any chance does anyone know about the bronco color way with the light grey/blue and white top. I think that is such an amazing option to choose, but it’s not an available option in the Website. Also every time they display it it’s in the 4-door will that color option also be available with the 2-door?
Bronco looks great, I'm really interested in getting the Bronco 4 door Black Diamond with the 2.7 and the 10 speed. I just wanna see it in person first to see what color to get.
Couple of quick comments. I think it is important to know that the fly around of the Cyber Orange 2 door is sporting what they claim is a "2 in factory lift", Method Race Wheels, and 37" KM3s. Don't know if that will be in the options. I just thought everyone should know why it looks taller and more fender clearance than the pre-production Broncos we are starting to see here in CO. The other thing I wanted to mention is that we run a JK Rubicon Hard Rock on the CO trails with the leather interior. My wife spends quite a bit of time standing, yes standing, on the passenger seat to take pictures through the open top of the landscapes and the group we run with. After 3 1/2 years, the leather shows zero wear. I do take time to clean and condition them several times a year with Lexol products. On that note, I have my reservation in and still now sure what option we will get but there are a few "must haves" on my list and my wife's. Sasquatch, heated leather seats, 12" display,, etc... and we will be figuring out exactly how to get to the 37's as we need to be able to run all the trails we run now in the built Hard Rock. Happy crawling!!!
With the more advanced 4WD system, can the 4A mode be used on pavement in such conditions as if it is raining or if a highway is slippery with a thin sheet of ice on it? I would like to use the new Bronco with the advanced 4WD system for traction or if I am going to snow or and occasional dirt trail without doing any serious hill climbing. Is the Sasquatch Package necessary if I'm not doing rock or steep mountain climbing?
Is there a way for us to get that second package light Grey Metal grille on any package? I’m not a fan of the black grilles. I love the retro look of the metal one. It looks much more like an original bronco
Are the various front grille’s actually interchangeable as claimed in one of Ford’s promos? Axle questions: I’m new to off-roading and would like a breakdown on the axle options and why someone would want to upgrade.
I heard the big Ben The front grill has an opening for cool air to go in and it closes slow speeds it opens when your four wheeling to keep the motor cool have you heard anything about it coming from Vancouver BC
Is the outer banks the only trim level with color matched fender flares? If I’m you were to add the Sasquatch package to the outer banks do the fender flares change to black plastic since the Sasquatch package includes higher clearance flares?
I reserved a Badland as I want the sway bar disconnect. If I could get a base with sasquatch and sway bar disconnect, rubber floors and the pull out tray thingy...i would be mostly happy.
Great information, thank you. Around the 7 min mark in your video you show a silver model. Can you explain which model this in and what packages it may include? I love it!
it shows the Sasquatch package as an option with the black diamond!!! will this really be an option or do i have to pick another package? Side note: Just upgraded to the Badlands!!! cancelled the black diamond... Now hopefully i can get the Sasquatch package
I don't think we can say 100% that the images and videos Ford provided represent what you can actually build. They will open up the site to doing full orders pretty soon though!
Heard from another vid, that a possible hybrid could be in the plans, just to be a step ahead of jeep? 3.3 or 2.7(F150) engine maybe mild hybrid ?? Could be interesting with 430+hp/500+lbs .torque
The 2-door Base with 33' tyres, lockers, heated seats, flat foalding rear seats. Extra LED light bars , a winch and a tow hook would exactly fit my needs. But according to my local Ford dealer the Broncos will not be available in Europe. That realy sucks.
I am amazed at the response to the Bronco. We haven't had one independent review and yet it is being snapped up like it is the new king of the hill. Don't get me wrong I like the car, but I'd like to know the limits of the car before I spend $60K. How does it compare to Jeep. What are it's limits and how is it superior?
Great video! I was wondering if there’s any updated you know of on the hybrid version that has been speculated? I do plenty of adventuring but alas do live in the city so good MPG is always a BIG plus
Eric it’s really unfortunate that Ford did not come out with the 5.0 V8 and we get instead is two uninspiring EcoBoost engines. The aftermarket has already come out and said they have 5.0 V8 engine swap-out kits for the Bronco. That being the case, why didn’t Ford just do that themselves??? Although I’m highly disappointed there isn’t a V8 engine option I’m seriously considering ordering a Badlands model but I didn’t realize as it stands now that you can’t order that Sasquatch package with the 7-speed MT? If Ford maintains there stance on that rest assured I will not be ordering a ‘21 Bronco. I don’t have a Insta-Gram or Twitter account so I cannot let Ford know this isn’t a good idea. I’m curious though Eric will you be ordering you a Bronco and if so what trim and color?
im guessing there are no tech "packages" for the base model? also why is the base carpet floors???!!!!!!!!!! wish it was even a cheaper version of the rubberized flooring.
Do you know if the rear seats fold all the way down in the 2 door version? I haven't been able to find that answer. Would be a bummer if they couldn't, as it seems trunk space is already limited in that version.
I don't remember what review it was because I've been watching pretty much all of them but i saw one where the guy had the same idea and unfortunately they did not go all the way down but maybe that'll change on the final production model.
1. Do Bronco hoods lock like most vehicles? (Wrangler hoods require aftermarket hood locks.) 2. Could I plug my iPod Touch Ver. 6 into the media system via a USB port? TIA.
So is the difference between the Badlands and the Wildtrak just that the Wildtrak comes with options preselected? I read somewhere that it has a wider track width too but idk if that's just wheel offset or what.
The open air doors are to give people an open air feeling, but with still providing some safety and security with some door incase if an accident

You're correct, it was late and I mis spoke. There's no annotation option unfortunately. Go by the chart, not what I say there.
I hope it performs well long term because once I get back to the US, it would be nice to have a two door Bronco again.
Lol people complaining about it not being a v8. The original had like 105 hp. 310 hp 400lb tq is great for a small vehicle. That being said I’d still prolly buy the 5.0 if they offered it.
Coyote V8 480hp and 420 torque all the way!
There’s a company called pax that will put a 5.0 in one for you for 30k or if you want a supercharged 5.0 45k. 410hp for n/a 5.0 and 720hp I think for The supercharged.
Its a bummer that the Sasquatch package is only available with an automatic transmission setup.
Yeah I guess just go with the the badlands and put 35s on it.
I don’t think that’s accurate. I’m looking on Fords website and I don’t see any Indication of that being the case. You should be able to get the Sasquatch package on both the 4 and 6 cylinders. Maybe I missed it in this video or I could be mistaken.
@@robertacevedo1185 Ford announced it in a tweet that it was true, the website contains misleading information.
Astro Beats that would really suck! Do you have a link to the tweet by any chance? I just checked their twitter and it couldn’t find anything.
Aren't 33s good enough? I know, it means -1 inch of ground clearance but I think 33s are beyond enough.
Thank you for including information on flat towing the Bronco behind an RV! That was a huge check mark on my list :)
Sasquatch rearend rato is offset by the larger 35" tires.
Only question I have is, what about Hybrid version that was been talk about it.
Thanks for the tip
if things go well I want the grey/blue one we see in the video with white top or colour match and the marine interior the white grey is stunning also with the 2'' lift and 37 they said will be available so in the badland loaded it will come out super but at a price here in Canada of about 70K$ but who cares its all in right!!!
It will be a bit pricier in Canada!
Here the price for a badland will start at 52994$ add the lux and sasquash it will be near 70k then the 2 inches lift and 37s +tx(15%) easily in mid to high 80k$, lucky us👎😞🤬
@@msterpeter1 I grew up in Toronto! I'm familiar with the current 13% HST.
I cant find that light powder blueish color at all!!! Idk wtf is called! Its been annoying me!
Joel Carrizales cactus grey
I'm compiling a list of questions for Ford. If there's something you want to know that's not on the Ford website ask them below and I'll do a follow up video.
stock gear ratio
Why no v-8,and why no solid axels? 🤔
Are the rear seats in the 2 door easily removable? There are only 2 of us with very few times we might have 3 in the car. It would be nice to remove the rear seats and have that extra cargo space. My 2003 Rav4 has removable rear seats and makes for a lot more room when removed.
why no cooled seats? and why no power seats in 2 door version? and will the 2 door version have fold flat rear seats? like actually flat.
I believe the Sasquatch package is available on every model. And I’m with you on the OD green.....think it would look great on the Bronco.
They should have brought back the original colours from the first bronco. I agree completely about too many silver / grey colours.
I want an all white Sasquatch package
@@tomcaldwell5914 You can't have a manual and Sasquatch though /:
Id take base..orange 4cyl with sasquatch 2doors...its the best looking
I'm confused now. So you can't go bigger tires on the 7 speed? However @ 14:02 the famous yellow 2 Door Bronco with hole in doors is lifted with a manual trans. I want to achieve that look with the manual trans.
The Sasquatch with the 35" tires is only available with the auto
Coming from ford i was expecting this to be hella expensive but im impressed highly
My biggest hangup at this point is I reserved the Bad Lands and it doesn't come std with the 2.7L & Auto T.
Im glad it doesn't, so I can get that granny gear stick with factory lockers. Just wish I could get the 2.7 with it.
Thanks so much. This is the most informative video I’ve seen thus far. And I’ve watched a lot !! 🤓
Glad it was helpful!
I saw a leaked photo a while back of cactus gray with a paint match hardtop. Has anyone heard anything about that option?
It is important to note too the Sasquatch package is not available on the 4cyl Manual. Want 35" tires and locking diffs you need to go to the v6 auto. That is disappointing...
Lobby Ford for a manual!
Although I want to see the Bronco do well, it sounds like a lot of warranty nightmares and recalls in the future.
Can I get a base model with a manual and the Sasquatch package or can I not get the manual AND the Sasquatch package
You can get a base manual with the Sasquatch - as long as you get the 2.3L. The configurator is still a bit buggy, but they're working on it.
I hope this isn’t a dumb question but by any chance does anyone know about the bronco color way with the light grey/blue and white top. I think that is such an amazing option to choose, but it’s not an available option in the Website. Also every time they display it it’s in the 4-door will that color option also be available with the 2-door?
Thank you, I'm less confused now after watching this and I reserved a base with full intentions of making it badder.
Hope it was helpful
Anybody what the price difference is for the v6 engine? And if you are allowed to choose when you reserve?
When talking about the Sasquatch package the vehicle being shown has 37s with a 2" lift.
Is that an option from factory?
Bronco looks great, I'm really interested in getting the Bronco 4 door Black Diamond with the 2.7 and the 10 speed. I just wanna see it in person first to see what color to get.
Turd Ferguson the cyber orange, Race Red, and that unknown powder blue looking color seems to be the best ones out there
Great explanation of everything, Eric, thank you.
Great job! Now that I have my reservation for the badlands the cyber orange and the brown leather looks killer!!
Thanks for that. When I made this video Ford had not disclosed the additional lift.
Take my money ford I am a Toyota guy it will be my first Ford
Welcome to our side.
I wish that Toyota would bring back the Fj!
@@NeptuneGuy78 An Fj with removable tops! How long is it gonna take before Toyota comes out with a competitor? I wish, soon!
Thanks for going into detail on the options. This was much needed!
Is the hardtop option on the two door one piece or two?
Is there a way for us to get that second package light Grey Metal grille on any package? I’m not a fan of the black grilles. I love the retro look of the metal one. It looks much more like an original bronco
I'll ak
Are the various front grille’s actually interchangeable as claimed in one of Ford’s promos?
Axle questions: I’m new to off-roading and would like a breakdown on the axle options and why someone would want to upgrade.
I'm not sure on the grill. Ford should be able to tell you. Axles rarely break FYI
Live stream next Saturday and look into pricing ideas for the options
Congrats!
2-Door Outer Banks 2.7 with the Lux package in blue would be my choice.
Correct. 🤣 Except the color. Orange for me!
I've got that exactly reserved. Nice taste :-)
That yellow Sasquatch 2 DR with the door cut out sure look like it's on 37s to me.
Thank you for another excellent review!
My pleasure!
I have a bad back. I hope the base comes with heated seat option and vinyl floor. Not paying 5k for the next model up.
No heated seats in the base. I’d consider something else. The Jeep has bad seats too FYI.
@@revmatchtv I have a jeep now and donr mind rhe seats. I have a sport wirh heated seats lol
17:24 if you look at the "open Air door" it looks tinted like there is some clear plastic or glass there. Do you guys see that?
There's no glass in this optional door afaik
Yes damn right we want the Sasquatch package with manual!!!
Great info!! I’m so excited for the Bronco!
The 2-door Base with 33' tyres, lockers, heated seats, flat foalding rear seats. Extra LED light bars , a winch and a tow hook would exactly fit my needs. But according to my local Ford dealer the Broncos will not be available in Europe. That realy sucks.
Which is the most luxurious way to go while keeping the manual transmission?
I am amazed at the response to the Bronco. We haven't had one independent review and yet it is being snapped up like it is the new king of the hill. Don't get me wrong I like the car, but I'd like to know the limits of the car before I spend $60K. How does it compare to Jeep. What are it's limits and how is it superior?
Great video! I was wondering if there’s any updated you know of on the hybrid version that has been speculated? I do plenty of adventuring but alas do live in the city so good MPG is always a BIG plus
I really like the black diamond trim but dont like the paint matched fenders
It may be possible to get black fenders from Ford via their accessories channel. I can't guarantee it, but I think it's possible.
What would be best for taking it on the beach for a surf session
Will they have cooled front seats and heated rear seats options in the 4 door?
I'll ask
So I wonder if you can get the Sasquatch package on the Badlands AND retain the disconnecting sway-bar
Turning radius for the two door? How does it compare with wrangler?
Will there be a Left-Hand drive variant so we can import it into Australia?
im guessing there are no tech "packages" for the base model? also why is the base carpet floors???!!!!!!!!!! wish it was even a cheaper version of the rubberized flooring.
Agree it should start with all vinyl
Do you know if the rear seats fold all the way down in the 2 door version? I haven't been able to find that answer. Would be a bummer if they couldn't, as it seems trunk space is already limited in that version.
I'll ask.
I don't remember what review it was because I've been watching pretty much all of them but i saw one where the guy had the same idea and unfortunately they did not go all the way down but maybe that'll change on the final production model.
Question for you to ask Ford...Is the only way to get the black shadow painted top is to get the WT or FE version?
I'll ask
@@revmatchtv
I found out on the ford site you can option up on the BL to the shadow black top.
1. Do Bronco hoods lock like most vehicles? (Wrangler hoods require aftermarket hood locks.) 2. Could I plug my iPod Touch Ver. 6 into the media system via a USB port? TIA.
No info on hood yet, but I'll ask Ford. I think for your iPod you're just going to have to try it. I don't know specifically what Sync 4 will support.
So is the difference between the Badlands and the Wildtrak just that the Wildtrak comes with options preselected? I read somewhere that it has a wider track width too but idk if that's just wheel offset or what.
Thanks for the question.
I missed if there is a center locking diff, there’s got to be right?
I'm not seeing the Velocity Blue color option on Ford's website 'colorizer'...where do we see that it is an optional color?
I'll ask.
Are they building a larger bronco cause what I seen at dealer around town looks like a Kia soul
You saw a bronco sport
Do we have any shots of the Wildtrak graphic? If I was able to afford a new vehicle, that'd be the package of choice for me right now.
No images of it so far
Any ideas why roof rack rails are not available if you add the sasquatch package?
My guess is due to increased heigh they don’t want people adding a bunch of weight on the roof, raising the COG and causing rollovers.
Playing around further, it actually looks like it's not the sasquatch package that requires removal of the rails, it's the 2.7 engine.
If they pair the V6 to the manual I will 100% but one.
I reserved a WildTrak but, I don't want carpet... I also hope sound of the exhaust on the 2.7 sounds aggressive!
Oh wow! An American FJ Cruiser!
J mucha. How do you think this is like an fj cruiser?
