Fantastic video. I know we drove here as a child almost 50 years ago. Today I’m struggling with my childhood memories and your video brought back some fond memories of this beautiful area. Driving along the coast in our station wagon, having lunch mom put together, along the coast and even as a young child I had a great appreciation for the magnificence of this place. I go back periodically and it’s always such a fantastic experience. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and sharing your enjoyment of the video ☺️. I love the memories and can see you all piled into the wagon - good stuff.
Thank you. That was beautiful. There is so much to see at Point Reyes. I've never been to (better yet inside) the RCA/KPH station. The Earthquake trail is a fun 1 mi walk from the Visitor's Center. The Lighthouse is well worth visiting. It's only open Sat-Mon afternoons. You can walk down the 300 steps to the LH only if the winds are below 40 mph. Check the web or call.
Love the earthquake trail! What a great way to understand how powerful 1906 really was. And thank you for your comment and kind words about the video. I love making them!
my home in early 70's after nam era ended, incredible place! Potters and I still work with Marin county and state in preserving the area. Love our bay trees and woodwardia ferns etc. thx for video but too many visitors destroys everything I cherished. I am 75 with cancer, those were the days. the woodman DC 2024!
So glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the work in preserving the area. I hear you about the visitors and the only thing we can count on as we get older is things will change! Really appreciate the comment and best wishes with your health.
So glad you enjoyed it. I love making these videos and knowing folks are enjoying them motivate me to make the next one. Any places I should consider visiting in the future?

Excellent video my friend! I actually turned to Nikki and said we needed to start heading towards California tomorrow, it was so beautiful.
Thanks Mr. Rick. Let me know when you arrive!
I love lighthouses, and I really enjoyed learning the mechanism.
Great video Nick, love the shots and the beautiful landscape. It was interesting seeing the history that makes up the land. Keep up the good work.

John Carpenter filmed "The Fog" at the lighthouse. It's a truly beautiful place. I must visit the Point ine day.
