      if it were as deadly as they claim, there would be far more deaths and far less recoveries.
      The media and those in charge are making it sound/seem worse than it actually is
      cos it benifits them to make people afraid. When people are afraid, they're more compliant.
      The main source media is bought off by the elitest and those pulling the strings.
      Open your eyes..
      they're using the "Pandemic" as a method of control under the guise that its "for your own good"
      all the while making you/everyone suffer even more.
      even doctors and nurses are speaking out about it

    2:40 you started describing the COVID-19, absolutely terrifying

    • @grounded7362
      @grounded7362 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Mark Ernest Matute:
      Yes he was describing the Covid-19 virus. They have been telling us for years what they are planing to do.
      Do you think it is just a coincidence that they run a simulation of such a pandemic in the US just a couple months before hand? And in other countries they ran the same simulation months to about a year earlier.
      They did the same thing with many other devastating events such as 9/11. Just months before they ran the exact simulation.
      This is not a coincidence!
      They tell us what they are going to do and the people just think it is a what if scenario, and when it happens just months later, they have totally forgotten about the premiere they were shown ahead of time.
      And by the way this covid-19 did not spread from an animal to a human. This is just the narrative they are selling the people.
      This covid-19 virus is an engineered virus.

    We are not prepared to handle the global spread of an infectious disease. Especially if it’s airborne, international air travel could help the agent spread to most or even all major population centers. I’m thankful for the IHR and WHO doing their jobs, but I seriously doubt we could handle a deadly infectious disease spread via mass transit! Great video, by the way, I love your presentation style

    Hi Mr. Greg nice, nice video! Could you clarify this question for me please! Why someone who has a bachelor degree in Public Health should go for an MBA?

    • @gregmartin
      @gregmartin  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question - a lot of public health is just about "getting things done". In fact, arguable, the definition of public health is the practical application of epidemiology. An MBA provides training in managing organisations including public health organisations.

      Trump did everything Fauci and other experts recommended: closed borders, closed the economy, shut down travel, focused efforts on protecting critical infrastructure and vulnerable populations. Remember that when the Trump administration imposed the travel bans that Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Biden called it racist and went out parading around for the cameras, no masks, in China Town. Then Democrats flipped and went from saying that Trump did too much to saying he wasn't doing enough, that everyone needed to hide inside for eternity, that you needed to wear ten masks. The only thing Biden did after taking office was push for more mask mandates after the majority of vulnerable populations were already vaccinated.

    Wow, I found your channel today and I have been able to gain insight and learn new global health concepts. I live in Nigeria and the country has a capacity deficit in pandemic management. The HIV interventions in the country are largely donor-funded but in the case of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, considering the disease burden in high capacity countries like the US and the UK the chances of getting any significant aid is slim. We must then begin to look within and coordinate our resources and expertise as a nation for pandemic control.

    "What can we do to mitigate the risks"? 1) Have strict rules on international air travel, 2) People traveling from developed countries to third world countries must be vaccinated and must go through quarantine on the return trip, 3) Trade from third world countries must be asymmetrical, i.e. nothing comes directly from a third world country to a developed country, inspection is done in the third world country, and reinspected in the developed country. More rules will be necessary. More people, more rules.

    Hi Greg. Excellent videos. I have signed up for an online MPH with UCC (I am an irish GP but currently living in South Africa for next year or so) and would like to prepare for part 1 of the MFPHMI at the same time with a view to applying for the scheme. Do you recommend any particular books to help me with this? Thanks so much. Ryan.

      Hi Ryan, glad to hear that you're interested in the higher specialist training in public health medicine scheme (I'm in my 3rd year of the scheme at the moment). For part 1, a book that everyone seems to use is "Mastering Public Health" (available on Amason). It's got useful frameworks etc. that can be used to answer Part 1 questions. Good luck.

    Dr. Martin
    It is a very good and amazing video.
    I didn't know DCP3 before this video
    So, good to to know it.
    I've searched for it and found it valuable.
    I Like the way you present the ideas and summarize the topic
    Thanks

    The videos are really helpful to get the comprehensive idea regarding various aspects of public health. The only problem is the waiting time. I think frequent uploads will help the audiences more.
