1941 Briggs & Stratton WMB, fired up and running.

This engine didn't take much to get running, but smoked badly. The top of the piston was covered in oil even with a brief runtime. I took the engine apart, cleaned everything, honed the cylinder and replaced the rings. All new gaskets, and it runs again with much less smoke. I would have liked to bore this one, but as you know costs start adding up. I also cleaned everything and painted it. Another old engine lives again however. #vintage #engine #old #antique
