Sheikhani (Assyria)

There are many sheikhani dances (and several common ways to transliterate that Assyrian word into English). We learned this version from master teacher Tom Bozigian in 1988. He had learned it in the early 1970s after it was brought to Los Angeles by Armenian immigrants from Assyrian communities near Tehran.
