I am almost done with my quad, but I started in April and have been working on it ever since. My rig was old and abused and has cost me a lot of time and money. As a result, I did not get much seat time. That should change soon. I am hoping to get some serious seat time to fine-tune everything before the first race. To many times, I had to deal with some form of mechanical due to lack of preparation. I just want to get out there and have fun racing. No schedules have been posted yet, but I am setting myself to do the IXCR icebreaker this February. Hope to see you out there.
@@j.need4qlife483 good deal man, yeah I’ve found the key to a successful race season is usually a good winter rebuild. The fresher the bike, the better off it will perform and longer it’ll last. I probably won’t be at IXCR round 1 but i will definitely be at several of them

What arms and wheel offset do you run? Starting my boys build and I’m blind and don’t know anything about the Yamaha 450r’s
@@chevylovis I’m running houser -3/4” xc long travel LTR Geometry a-arms with 4:1 offset front wheels.
@ dude you’re awesome thank you. My boy follows you on tictok. When he seen his surprise gift was an orange 450 he’s like “it’s just like mcnabbs!” 😂
